Our reason for rejecting Rudy is not stubborn obstinance. Life is one of the deepest most heart-held, sacred principles that we hold before Almighty God, and the violation of it would make us accountable to God.
I hope the Giuliani supporters see that their candidate will never win, and that a Giuliani nomination equals a Hillary victory.

I think not.

Has anyone realized the sample was of adults????? Not registered voters, not likely voters, but adults. I am willing to bet that if the poll was likely voters, the result would be around a tie.People only pay attention to such details when they want to discredit the findings.

Get some spine and stand up for a better candidate than Rooty. Its not too late.
You want to win? Do it without holding your nose.

Uh can you show us where Nixon EVER promoted militant homosexualism, abortion, infringement of Second Amendment rights, illegal aliens?Your request is quite odd. Why would I expect them to have said anything about issues that are 40 years in the future? Do any of the current candidates have position papers on the burning issues of 2047?
BTW, on the vast majority of issues, I would rate Rudy more liberal than Nixon.

If Rudy is the nominee and you adhere to your promise, YOU will be part of the reason that a vicious, extreme socialist armed with tons of minions and dollars is elected President. Do you have ANY core principles? Is there not a mountain that you are willing to die on?
Rudy is as pro-abortion as any NARAL member. I would rather live under the tyranny of a Hillary Clinton than to cast a vote for Rudy Giuliani. I will not take the blame for American's inability to choose wisely. If Hillary becomes the president because the Republicans have abandoned all principle to put up an abortion supporter in hopes of heading off some kind of Hillary challenge, then the Republicans have no one to blame but themselves.
I won't vote for Rudy. Never. I am willing to die on that mountain. Four years of Hillary might be hell for our country, but if we wake up on January 22, 2009 and she is our president, then America deserves no better than what they will get.

Actually, if YOU vote for Giuliani YOU will be the cause of Hillarys win. You already know that we will never vote for Giuliani. Good point! I know we've disagreed on other things (e.g. Rick Warren) but here we definitely agree. :-)

Whoever came up with this absurd idea that the GOP could win by running a candidate more liberal than most 'Rats is insane! I think it's more of that socialist virus that tells us we have to make everything homogenous and so leave us devoid of meaningful choices -- we can't have a minority promoting excellence that sticks out like a sore thumb!

If Rooty Toot is the GOP nominee, we wil have “extreme socialist armed with tons of minions and dollars is elected President” NO MATTER WHO WINS THE ELECTION!

that’s funny - according to my poll over half of the country hates Hillary

Good point! I know we've disagreed on other things (e.g. Rick Warren) but here we definitely agree. :-) I disagree with xzins and P-Marlowe on most matters of Christian dogma (I'm Catholic and they're Protestant). However, I agree with them on ALL moral matters. It is my belief that in the not so distant future, the left will start jailing ALL Believers and when that day comes, it will be my profound honor to share a cell with them.

Senator Clinton, wife of ex-president Bill Clinton and the strong front-runner for the Democratic nomination for next year's election, held a 51-43 percent margin over Giuliani in a Washington Post-ABC News poll. The poll showed Democrat voters favoring Clinton over Giuliani by 88-9 percent while independents were for Clinton 48-44 percent. Republican voters preferred Giuliani, the former New York City mayor, 88-10 percent.
Running those together, and it's plain they oversampled Dims by a considerable amount. Wonder what the internals show.

Life is one of the deepest most heart-held, sacred principles that we hold before Almighty God, and the violation of it would make us accountable to God. Life is the first gift that God gives us at the moment of conception and His greatest gift to us is Eternal Life with Him. So, I would say that life is of eminent importance to the Lord.

I am not a Catholic, I am not a Rick Warren supporter. I am a Christian.
I am NOT for anyone or entity selling us political goods under the guise of religion. Any candidate, If you are not of faith, cut it out.
I do not support abortion or liberal philosophy.
Our candidate cannot be Rudy, he may want to sell his liberal self as a Catholic who will fight the WOT. He left his faith a long time ago.
Problem with him is that his God is power and money. He cares not for supporting his church or its tenets.
I cannot and will not vote for him. We are not talking Hillary here. We all know what God she serves, but I cannot and will not vote for a person that disgraces his faith and serves himself before God and those who would trust his leadership.

Rudy is weak, very weak, on WOT. I don’t know where the myth that he is strong on WOT originated but it isn’t true.
