"Our fight is no longer inside the Beltway," said one senior Mexican official, who agreed to speak only on condition of anonymity. "We have been forced to change our strategy."

The Mexican government is giving its consulates in the U.S. wide latitude to ramp up a campaign to toughen their defense of immigrants....

How dare they tell the U.S. that they refuse to take back their own citizens. Are we to send illegal alien Mexicans to Darfur?

This is great. And I'm series.

The more Mexico does like this, the more is sustains the fact that anchor babies are NOT US citizens per the 14th Amendment as their parents are not "subject to the jurisdiction thereof" (of the United States).

So keep it up Mexico, make our day.

We need to inundate every single telephone line in every single consulate as well as the Embassy...24/7....so that Mexico cannot do any business here in the US.

That loathsome country does not want to provide services to their peasant (mestizo) class, and moreover wants the revenue they send. Hell no they don't want them back. Not while hey're a burden in country, and a cash cow outside.

Our weak kneed government won't call them on it.

47 consulates

WOW. By comparison, we have 10 consulates and an Embassy in Mexico. If anyone needs more evidence that we are being invaded, this is it.

Offhand, I’d say that it’s time to close the Mexican consulates for committing a hostile act.

Mexico is more and more revealing itself as an enemy of the USA. They’re acting like the PLO of North America.

I know of a Mexican Consul that has no intentions of going back to Mexico when his “time is up”. He’s lived in the States for so long he considers it home and that Mexico is a “hole”.

They see the annual $25-30 BILLION cash-flow into Mexico endangered by our pathetically late attempts to ship their citizens back to them. Cases of illegals ought never wind up in our courts since they are not covered by the US Constitution.

The primary goal of the US should be two fold. First, to make it relatively easy for educated, productive and entrepreneurial Mexicans to get in the US in short order and to stay here a long time.

Second, is to make it as easy as possible to eject uneducated, lazy, welfare consuming and criminal Mexicans as quickly and permanently as possible.

This overall should be the objective of all our immigration laws. But it needs to be scaled up in the case of Mexico.

Then, the second half of this program should be to diffuse and integrate the desirable Mexicans into the US culture as quickly as possible. This means breaking up immigrant communities so that integration is not optional, and insisting on English language skills to remain in the US.

The longer even illegal immigrants have been in the US, the more obvious that this applies. If a Mexican family has been in the US many years and still does not speak English or have a typical education, or have had reasonable success in supporting themselves in employment, there is no reason for them to stay here.

However, if they have been gainfully employed for some time, have children born or otherwise integrated into the US, who can communicate in English, and who are not criminal offenders, there is no reason for them to go, if they can go through at least a pro forma citizenship requirement.

In truth, they are already at least half-American at this point, and better citizens than many who are fully American.

Of course they dont want them back....figure this one and do the math...
Take how many illegal immigrants from Mexico are in the US, Multiply it by the amount of money that the illegals send home from the US after not paying taxes here and taking advantage of entitlement programs.
The Mexican economy would suffer worse than it already does.

The Mexican government is giving its consulates in the U.S. wide latitude to ramp up a campaign to toughen their defense of immigrants and plans to give them more resources as well, officials familiar with the strategy said.

The meddling Mexican govt is seriously pissing me off.

The Mexicans need to focus on fixing the massive corruption in their own country instead of foolishly trying fill our country with their criminals.

America needs only new immigration legislation that will:

1) Secure our borders
2) Enforce existing law
3) Not contain an amnesty provision of any kind
4) Will improve our visa system
5) Must prosecute and fine those businesses which knowingly employ illegal workers
6) Must give law enforcement officials the necessary resources and authority to combat illegal immigration
7) Must deport illegal aliens violating the law after being fingerprinted, photographed, charged with a felony, and placing their information in a national database.
8) Send a bill for deportation/prison costs to the embassy of the illegal immigrant’s national origin.
9) 2nd time and thereafter repeat offenses by illegal aliens should be sent to work prison camps for a maximum of 6 months.
10) Must not give illegal immigrants government welfare benefits of any kind, including Social Security
11) Designates English as our national language
12) Change the 14th Amendment regarding birthright citizenship for the children of illegal immigrants
13) Put pressure on the Mexican government and other nations to reduce illegal immigration to America.
14) Encourages only legal immigration and citizenship to for those wanting to become Americans.

These ENFORCED changes would strengthen America greatly.

Among the actions under discussion are the creation of an anti-defamation league similar to that focused on protecting Jews; budget increases for some of the 47 consulates

And whose tax dollars will be paying for this expense = of course, yours.

Make all Mexican consulate personnel persona non grata and kick them out of the country immediately.
