DETROIT (AP) - Officials say a U.S. immigration official linked to $640,000 in bribery and theft accusations took money and gifts in exchange for freeing numerous illegal immigrants.
A spokeswoman for Detroit's U.S. attorney says that one alien freed by the official went on to murder a Wayne State University graduate student from Jordan.

Now the bribed INS/ICE official has blood on his hands too. Plus the Feds sat on this for four years? Four? Let’s arrest and interrogate a little sooner and get the same information. If there are several involved, one of them will turn.

According to that article, (thanks Westlander), all but one of the other conspirators is now in the Middle East and likely to never face charges here. There better be some real good intelligence gathered as a result of the four year (let em scram) wait. I am less and less confident these folks know what they are doing.
