The wife and I actually drove across the US this past summer instead of flying. We enjoyed it FAR more than if we had flown. We even went to additional places on the way there and back that added to the vacation. Flying isn’t all that great when it is such an expensive hassle and we would have missed some great highlights of our trip.
If the airlines want to make money they are going to need to re-engineer their industry. They are circling the drain.
You’re right. They do want to kill me any way they can. You, too.
But being told they are out to get me is very different from telling me the specific tactics they intend to use so that I can defend against it. That’s what some say about 9/11, that the tactic used was obvious and so those who didn’t prevent it are at fault. Sure it’s obvious in hindsight. Everything is. It’s prediction that’s tough.

Limited exposure would have to be built in. No amount of protection is absolute under any circumstance, but the same technologies could be used to minimize threats.
