Yep. The steal from their own constituents so its a one day news story.

Another example of the govt having too much authority. They make way too many rules about zoning, building, etc. This enables them to be bribed so those same onerous rules can be bypassed.

I'm on Jessie watch already.

Yep. Watching the news footage of the accused, I knew that Dallas would probably be the next stop for Jesse and Al's traveling circus.

You don’t understand. Corruption is okay, as long as the money goes to the “oppressed”. And holding a black politician to a legal standard that supposedly applies to everyone is racism.

So let the decline of America continue.

Nah, they are just getting a share of the pie.

Yes, race was a factor. The pig politicians were racing to the slop of corruption get as much as they could. They were racing to bribery.

Race is an issue not only because the perp is black, but because he is liberal.

Color doesn’t get black conservatives a ‘get out of jail free’ card.

Oh, there’s no doubt that it will. When the investigation first started, the race card was played.

“All the investigations in the world never fed a single hungry child.””

Funny- I never saw all the bribes and corruption feed any hungry child, either.
Crooks are crooks.
Simple as that. They all need to be prosecuted.

traditionally black Paul Quinn College

That term has always amazed me for its ability to avoid the obvious term: "racist".

Just imagine a "traditionally white" college.

"This is a sad day for Dallas," said Mayor Tom Leppert. He sought to reassure residents that "all rules of ethics and conduct will be vigorously enforced."

Corrupt public officials being indicted is sad? I think it's a great day when this occurs.
