You folks in NC might want to ask this git when he is going to be running for office again.

However, what Limbaugh claims to be perpetuation of a lie could be gaining traction. North Carolina Republican Rep. Walter Jones told FOX News late Monday that Limbaugh "went too far," and that he will sign on to Udall's resolution on Tuesday morning. Jones is one of two Republican House members who have consistently supported antiwar legislation.

Lisa Dollinger Clear Channel Communications 200 East Basse Road San Antonio, TX 78209

RE: Soros / Clinton for President Network Backs Media Matters Distortion of Rush Limbaugh's Remarks.

Ms. Dollinger:

Please forward to all concerned at Clear Channel my deep appreciation for making widely available commentator Rush Limbaugh, these past 19 years.

Having examined the facts concerning the alleged statements made by Mr. Limbaugh some believe to be an insult to all veterans of the Iraqi War, I have concluded his words have been taken completely out of context and were in reference only to some who have falsified personal accounts and personal history to aggrandize themselves at the expense of the credibility of the United States.

An organization known as "Media Matters," financially supported by Mr. George Soros and urged on by persons backing certain candidates for president, has intentionally begun a wretched campaign to censure Mr. Limbaugh, officially, if possible.

Mr. Soros is, as you know, is also a strong financial supporter of a wide network of organizations engaged in public policy debate, including "MoveOn.org," recently officially censured for a childish distortion of the name of a highly decorated U.S. Army General.

I have concluded the present wide dissemination of this latest distortion of Mr. Limbaugh's commentary to be nothing more than part and parcel of an already heated 2008 presidential campaign.

I urge Clear Channel to continue to keep its head and come to the defense of Mr. Limbaugh, regardless of this current effort by some professional public relations experts to "manufacture a consensus" ahead of any examination of the facts.

I am forwarding this note immediately to my representatives in the United States Congress, Senators Richard Burr and Elizabeth Dole, as well as Representative Walter Jones, in hopes they too will come to Mr. Limbaugh's defense and that no action be taken in Congress without a such a complete examination of the facts in this matter as can be done by anyone with more than a cursory interest in the truth.

Presidential politics is, and always has been, a heated affair. In fact, it is an American tradition to test the very limits of the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution in such a season.

I do not plead on behalf of any censorship of the right of free speech on the part of Mr. Soros or anyone else. I only ask that all concerned remember, though early, the presidential contest of 2008 is well underway, and those exercising their responsibility to vote in the coming months should examine every statement, especially many news stories, that will almost certainly arise from an effort to further or to diminish the fortunes of those running for president.

Very respectfully,

Rush is a big boy who can handle himself. As long as the ratings are there, he’ll never get arbitrarily yanked off the air.

Here are my thoughts on the subject.

The Democrat party is clearly showing them selves to be a criminal enterprise by this action.

They know full well Rush has their number and is doing an excellent job of exposing them for the criminals that they are and they are making no bones about wanting him off the air

Rush's show attracts around 20 millions listerners, the vast majority of which share his point's of view on issues like this. What is going to happen to people like you and I if the Dems take the White House and keep the majority in both houses of Congress.

You folks in Nevada and Iowa ought to be very embarrased right now. It never occured to me that those two states are being reprresentated by goons and thugs like these in Congress. I know you folks in these two states can do better than this.

Regards.........

I have now called my US Texas representative and given them and ear-full!

Telling them to denounce Harry Reid & Dick Durbin lies and the Soros funded Media Matters!

And I only feel a little better, I'm still fuming from yesterday.

Can't wait to hear Rush today!

Nowadays I could care less about Limbaugh.

Stopped listening years ago when it sounded like he was broadcasting from the White House basement.

If you haven't see Clear Channel's response to the 41 democrats who signed a letter asking they repudiate Rush, here's a link

Stunning that 41 Senators would take up such a trivial matter instead of doing the peoples business they were hired to do. I pray their constituents show them the door!
