Calls for Jewish Republicans to Boycott "Republican Jewish Coalition"
{Ron Paul's}...voice should be heard at any serious Republican Presidential candidates forum.
It becomes relevant when one starts and funds a “group” called jews4paul. In general hey are harmless, more than likely irrelevant. Other, of course, than to Paul. It does his campaign no good to have an individual with a cloudy background starting a group called jews4paul, when he could just as easily be starting Unitarians4paul or Quakers4paul. I appreciate you’re not doing it, but having a self described Jewish Unitarian Universalist Transhumanist Quaker heading a Jewish advocacy group is as foolish as looking for support on FR for a progressive dem. This doesn’t help the Paul campaign in the real world.
Run Paulie’s supporters have ambitions of being the “nut wing” of the GOP but the term “nut feather” is more accurate.
Only paleoPaulie’s shrink or pastor and his AQl Qaeda control know for sure the precise reasons why he has earned the title of Dr. Demento.
AQL=Al
Profile of the typical Paulestinian, in miniature. ;)
Moved and seconded. OUTSTANDING work, SJ!!! ;)
So, he's being dishonest about just who he is.
Frankly, I wish he'd just leave the GOP, but he's smart enough to know he can't win as a Libertarian.
1) His poll numbers are not even close to being within the statistical margin of zero, as is the case for the ones not being invited.
2) Like him or not, Thompson’s poll numbers put him in the top tier — IOW, one of the ones capable of winning the nomination.
3) Who says that the RJC speaks for anyone but themselves? And who pays enough attention to this, other than cranks with gripes? Ask me if I care what a small bunch of socially maladjusted freaks think of Jews. Hint: They didn’t think highly of us before this, and catering to their delusions won’t make them like or respect us.
I’m not going to play dhimmi to the Paul/Buchanan/Duke types out there.
If he thinks he has any kind of chance of winning as a Republican, he's not smart at all.

True enough. It's no wonder he's attracting the lowest common denominator in this country.
I think that a significant portion of his base of support is both hard-left nuts who believe that supporting a “Republican” (and Ron Paul is the epitome of RINO) who opposes the war is a better way to end it, as well as leftists who like making mischief, just like “Republicans for Kucinich” and “Republicans for Gravel.”
Oh, absolutely! That's been my thinking all along. They've done everything from make horse's rumps of themselves by acting loud and raucous during debates, and flooding media polls asking the question "Who do you think won tonight's debate?".
See 22, 24, 35. Can’t scrub everything. Essentially a progresse Democrat of questionable religious affiliation creating an organization to bash the RJC.
Don’t need the wayback machine this soon after the scrubbing. The links I provided on post #1 are to Google’s cached (before the scrub) version of Perry’s personal site. From there you can see his bio or click on his navigation buttons to see the cached version of his politics, religion etc.. After a period of time, the Google Cache version will expire and then you’d would need the wayback machine...
But another freeper has posted the content of some of Perry’s cached personal pages on this thread - for posterity.
Their behavior reminds me of past FReeps of polls, the Gore conference call, etc. In other words, trying to make the candidate in question look like a jackass.

Jews for Ron Paul: 'Swap in Ron Paul for Huckabee at your GOP Forum?'
Tuesday, October 02, 2007 - FreeMarketNews.com
http://www.freemarketnews.com/WorldNews.asp?nid=49705The increasingly high profile national organization, "Jews for Ron Paul," is asking the Republican Jewish Coalition to swap in presidential candidate Ron Paul (R-Tex) for Mike Huckabee at its upcoming presidential forum. Huckabee has reportedly sent his regrets to the RJC, explaining that he cannot attend its upcoming forum and fund-raiser for certain "top tier" GOP candidates in Washington DC. The formal request is due to be made shortly, according to sources close to Jews for Ron Paul.
Jews for Ron Paul has gained some prominence in the alternative press by calling on the Republican Jewish Coalition to cease its exclusion of the libertarian-constitutional scholar and presidential candidate Ron Paul (R-Tex). Jews for Ron Paul also attended a New England RJC chapter meeting and found significant support for Ron Paul, as reported by FMNN:
http://www.freemarketnews.com/WorldNews.asp?nid=49578
Now sources close to Jews for Ron Paul say that its leadership intends to approach the RJC with the suggestion that the RJC allow Ron Paul to join its forum and fund-raiser since Huckabee cannot attend. One reason that the RJC has used to exclude Ron Paul is that the forum can only accommodate a certain amount of GOP candidates. But Huckabee's absence opens up an additional slot.
If the RJC continues to refuse to allow Ron Paul to attend, then a pro Ron Paul rally outside of the forum in Washington DC may be organized by Jews for Ron Paul and might even include the candidate himself. "It would be a great forum for him to explain that opposing support for the state of Israel with billions of American tax dollars is not an anti-Jewish act, and that anyone who confuses the state of Israel, and its militarism, with the Jewish population in general is not being fair to Jews who do not support all the policies of Israel."
This supporter went on to not that while the United States is currently engaged in at least two active wars, and is apparently contemplating a third, Americans in general are not warlike and would resent the idea of being held responsible for every act their government is performing in their name.
"Governments are not necessarily linked to the populations they purport to represent," this source pointed out. "People who for whatever reason enjoy being anti-Jew like to confuse the government of Israel with Jews in general, and then to label every last person a Zionist. That's like calling every American a warmonger. It's neither true nor fair."
But this source pointed out that certain Jewish groups such as the RNC actually encourage this confusion among Jews themselves by equating inordinate American financial support, via billions of taxpayer dollars, with support for "Jews."
That's the kind of confusion that Ron Paul would like to clear up, this source added. "It's a good reason for him to attend. The RJC shouldn't be afraid of having a frank exchange of views. That's what forums are for."
Jews for Ron Paul Readies Yamakas, Hebrew T-Shirts for Sale
Tuesday, October 02, 2007 - FreeMarketNews.com
http://www.freemarketnews.com/WorldNews.asp?nid=49702
Jews for Ron Paul is offering for a sale line of easy-to-wear T-shirts and maybe yamakas in support of GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul (R-Tex) - who has himself reportedly posed in one with the message ‘Ron Paul ‘08’ in Hebrew. The T-shirts for sale can be seen here:
http://www.jews4ronpaul.org/advisors.html2
The sale of T-shirts, and indeed the establishment of Jews for Ron Paul itself has taken place amidst some controversy. Especially upset, according to sources close to Jews for Ron Paul, are white “supremicist” groups. Supporters of such groups have apparently taken to emailing Jews for Ron Paul claiming that Ron Paul would never tolerate such a group and that his formal or informal support for “Jews for Ron Paul” must be an invention.
Bur Jews for Ron Paul is real, as, apparently, is Ron Paul’s support. Said one supporter of Jews for Ron Paul: “Ron Paul doesn’t have a racist bone in his body. His differences with Israel and the American Israel lobby have to do with funding that country - and its political leaders and war machine - with billions of American dollars.”
Ron Paul’s stance toward Israel is congruent with similar positions he has taken regarding American funding of other countries and foreign adventures abroad. He believes free-trade, not war, is the best guarantor of peace and stability, and that America ought to be exporting private-sector goods and services, not weapons and soldiers.
Sources also pointed out that since FMNN had begun to report on the group, its membership has swelled considerably and that those who expressed support for the group via email, fax or phone now numbered close to 500.
