Another hit to the ‘rust belt’. Hopefully those workers land on their feet. My guess is too many of them will be unwilling to locate to regions of the country with low unemployment.

Ha... what is the profit of GM currently? How in the world will they fund that?

General Motors Corp. and the United Auto Workers would allow GM to close a plant in Michigan....jeff daniels will NOT be happy!!!

If these poor workers had a friggen brain they would simply go behind the unions back to management and ask if they would agree to the same pay and benefits that the foreign mfg in America receive (maybe adjusted for the cost of living in the area). If the answer is yes then the union workers ought to vote to throw the union out.

The union clearly has outlived it’s usefulness.
