Was the immigration raid Thursday on local McDonald's restaurants the opening shot in a battle that will finally solve this problem in Northern Nevada? Or was it nothing more than an isolated enforcement action that will soon be forgotten as we return to business as usual?

Definition of Excepting
Ex`cept´ing
prep. & co 1. With rejection or exception of; excluding; except.
No one was ever yet made utterly miserable, excepting by himself.
I am sure you mean ACCEPTING.
That was edifying.
It looks like these raids by ICE, on high profile companies, come about once a month. Just enough to make it look like they are really doing something and it gives the pro illegal immigration groups the fuel to raise their voices about how cruel and unjust these raids are.
I think the only reason ICE is doing anything to enforce our existing laws is to give the pro amnesty groups fuel! Remember the Libs in congress and this adminestration want to shove through a bill that will grant amnesty! This is why they are draging their feet on the border fence. Stay alert people, it is coming again!
Folks, we need to take this seriously. Stolen identification is a big problem, allowing millions of illegal aliens to skirt the law. Employers like Luther Mack will continue to hire illegals, as he is not required to verify ID.
Because of a shortage of workers in northern Nevada (who will work for poverty wages), we need illegal aliens to fill the void, the article argues. But I suppose that if you live in an ivory tower, gutting the middle class and flooding our country with cheap labor to improve your bottom line makes sense.
“At least we know where your priorities are on the immigration debate”
Not at all. Excepting would indicate he was rejecting the ID’s, or not hiring the illegals.
I have long advocated employers NOT hiring illegals. When somebody is willing to break the law to get into the country, what is to prevent them from stealing your payroll?

With jerkoff in charge of homeland security I would say it was isolated enforcement, the agents had probably been on the case for four years and had to show a little something for all the money they had spent. They worked for two years selling fake papers in new england and only arrested people before the agents were about to die of old age.
WOW!..A five month investigation leads to fifty arrests. At that rate ICE should have the 12 million illegal alien problem under control in about 100,000 years.
LOL
Have you called every local politician that you can find and expressed your support for the raid? If not, then do it and get all of your friends to do it too!
We need to remind these people know where their votes come from.
