Luckily for us we still have no idea why.

Sounds like whatever there was... they took it to wherever they were going.

Okay, here goes:

I will neither confirm nor deny this may or may not be the vaguest article I may or may not have read in my hypothetical life.

So I may or may not be pissed.

Isn’t it though? If you were this guy wouldn’t you be describing in detail what you saw? (unless you were asked not to)

This reminds me of the joke where you're supposed to ask,
"What was in the box"?

This should clear things up. LOL

Matteson said that he believes the truck has been at that U-Haul location for 3 to 6 months and that as far as he knows no one has had access to it during that time. The rental center is surrounded by fences and has a security unit, Matteson said.

The Department of Homeland Security would be notified, Matteson said, although the current situation was not to a level that would require that federal agency or the FBI to get involved in the investigation.

“We’re not sure what we have,” Matteson said.

Other similar trucks were parked near the one being searched, and Matteson said investigators had yet to decide whether to search them too. “They have a lot of work with just this one,” he said.

In the coming days, investigators will study the documents to figure out whether they point to a specific threat, he said.

There were some non-items that were not terrorist related...

Yeah. But s'okay, they're investigating...(/s)

Um. Why would they be investigating if there was nothing suspicious?

Maybe it was this guy

Moving his crates of Korans, nuclear diagrams, maps and whatnot to another apartment or storage when his handler swooped him up to a pressing project in Deir az Zahr, Syria.

It could happen...

The FBI says it was aware of the discovery but according to agent Deb McCarley "there is nothing to suggest it is terrorist related."

That's a gaurantee that it is terrorist related!

There were some tense moments at a U-Haul trailer rental facility in Tempe a western city on Friday.

A 14-foot truck was returned to the company's Priest Drive location around 3 p.m. in the afternoon.

When a manager a person opened it up, he spotted some items he thought looked suspicious.

According to one of the company's vice presidents of Product and Safety , "It didn’t take me long to call people let’s put it that way."

Doug Matteson from The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office explains what happened next.

"We opened it up, we saw some items that kinda looked linked to suspicious activity…we are not saying this is involved with terrorism…we saw some items that kinda bring some attention to our Deputies that work anti-terrorism. We called them out to make sure, have them go through everything."

The Sheriff Office confirms there were no guns, explosives, or hazardous materials, Islamists, ammunition, Democrats, or illegals found in the truck.

They do say there was a messy pile of suspicious documents and files stuff.

There were also some other items that the Sheriff’s Office said it was not prepared to comment on.

The FBI A particular Federal agency says it was aware of the discovery but according to agent Deb McCarley one of its employees "there is nothing to suggest it is terrorist related."

Investigators will continue combing through the documents stuff and are trying to dig up more information about the person who last rented the truck.

FIXED FOR MORE CLARITY AND PUBLIC RELEASE.
