The far lefts campaign to rehabilitate the CBS Killian memos and attack the bloggers who discredited them is in full bloom today, as Sidney Blumenthal makes a ludicrous, stupid accusation in an article for Salon.com:
Dan Rather stands by his story.
"..Within minutes of the conclusion of the broadcast, conservative bloggers launched a counterattack. The chief of these critics was a Republican Party activist in Georgia. Almost certainly, these bloggers, who had been part of meetings or conference calls organized by Karl Roves political operation, coordinated their actions with Roves office..."
Rove? Karl Rove?
If only this Blumenthal tool knew the terrible secret of LGF. Rove is the least of your worries, Sidney. Bwahahaha!
Oh come on Doc. There is no way they can turn off their hate. Without their hate they have no reason to live. They will hate whoever their masters tell them to hate.
The Salon article credits “a Georgia activist” (presumably our Buckhead) for busting Dan Rather, but the LGF comment seems to be taking credit for itself. I am familiar with the FR thread where Buckhead posited the key qustions, but does anyone know what the specific contribution made by LGF was? Thanks.
What’s really scary Sidney, is that Rove is now unrestrained by his office. He has a private weather machine that is far mor powerful than the one he had as a White House adviser.
PS Sidney: Guess who put the Rose Law Firm billing records in Hillary’s office at the WH all those years ago?
Do you have Rove’s cell #? I need to contact him...
Charles Johnson and LGF is the guy who fired up MS Word, retyped the document on the default settings, and overlayed it with the fake docs in an animated gif that flashed between the two documents, showing they matched up amazingly well.
It was a stroke of genius and completely sealed it for most people. Charles Johnson is da man.
Doug ya mean you didn't get the secret code ring.

Oh man. Did you read the letters written in response?
Those damn bumper stickers are all over the place here in the People’s Republic of Maryland.
On the other hand, I find it helpful when the mentally ill identify themselves as such.
I see cliffs and lemmings...
Yes, and Rove kidnapped the Linburgh baby and personally shot down Emelia Earhart’s plane not to mention steered hurricane Katrina to New Orleans.
I remember the incident well. I was traveling in Europe at the time. I saw the first Bush/Kerry "debate" on CNN Europe while in Germany and then followed the coverage thereof via FR. August had gone so well for us but the tide definitely seemed to be turning. I was sure the MSM had something they were going to pull and when I heard about the TANG story on 60 Minutes II I thought that probably was it. I was in Romania and I didn't get to watch 60 Min. II so I read about it on the FR thread. I remember giddily telling some Romanian friends that one of the biggest American newscasters was in the process of being taken down by my favorite website for trying to throw the election to the Democrats. They thought I was crazy but in the end that's pretty much what happened.
So thanks again for your contribution to this great event. And the next time you're with Karl Rove in his super-secret underground command fortress (you know, with the weather machine and the ventriloquism machine, etc.) please tell him that rogue yam still thinks he's a "magnificent bastard"!
From the article:
Within minutes of the conclusion of the broadcast, conservative bloggers launched a counterattack. The chief of these critics was a Republican Party activist in Georgia.
They don't even have their time line right.
Is Salon going to give you equal time and publish an article from you?
It doesn't take much to create such poorly made counterfeit documents, as has been illustrated many times on FR. The true genius of Rove is revealed by the fact that Rove somehow KNEW that Rather would accept these phony documents at face value and forfeit his entire career in a hopeless effort to sell them to the public.
Just how did Rove know that Captain Dan was so ignorant and so arrogant? Who could have expected such a thing?
>>That’s Inaugural Day, but it’s also the day the moonbats have to quit BDS cold turkey.
Oh, yeah, like that’s going to happen.
It may not be Bush any more, but they’ll transfer the moonbattery to someone, be sure of that.
