WEARE – A 17-year-old Henniker boy who admitted to having sex with his 15-year-old girlfriend will "absolutely" be arrested for sexual assault, police said yesterday.
On top of the pending criminal charge, police said the 17-year-old also was beaten by the girl's father after the father learned the two had sex.
It was Monday, Sept. 10 when the girl's father stormed school property and attacked the boy around 3 p.m., according to Turmelle.
The principal said he's upset at the number of people who have sided with the father over this incident.
"We all work so hard to give our kids a safe place to go to," he said. "Any time we have an act of violence, it's very upsetting because it is completely antithetical to what we're trying to accomplish."

The term minor has to mean something. At 15 she is a minor. This is not 1930 or 1975 anymore.

Discipline the kid yes, perhaps with a little Dad applied corporal punishment. File charges against this kid is too far.

Soon a majority of Americans will be convicted criminals and then the state can remove all our rights and control us better. Remember, according to the police and nanny staters in our midst, there is an invisible clause to the Constitution that states if you have been convicted of a crime none of the Bill of Rights applies any longer. Voila! Instant slaves.
Ah, the “innocence” of youth. This is a nasty trick that biology pulled on human beings, and in some societies, is exactly the reason for the SUPPRESSION of females. Since they cannot be trusted around hormone-ridden young males, females have to be sequestered. And being sequestered, therefore sheltered, they need only learn the elemental skills necessary to be a keeper of the hearth and as an incubator for babies. No need to give them any job skills, as they shall never be anywhere outside the home anyway.
This is the approach the Taliban and the Wahhabi take, which may be part of the appeal of these ideologies.

Consensual sex with a minor = BAD
Non consensual ass-whipping delivered to minor = GOOD

I agree. This is stupidity gone to seed. It takes a real man to meet a young man face to face and tell him where the line is drawn and what will not be tolerated, without ever throwing a punch or engendering hate, while at the same time letting his daughter know she’s in danger of crossing that line — never even raising his voice. I had such a man for a father. I remember when a date brought me home after curfew. My father met us at the door and opened it. He had a tone of voice that could freeze water in mid July in Missouri. He said, “Young man, you have had your first — and last — date with my daughter.” He grounded me for a month after the door closed.
The following Monday, that young man (who came from the wrong side of the tracks in town and was used to a very harsh life) said, “I wish he would have just punched me in the mouth — it would have hurt less.” I don’t know how my dad managed that, but he had that presence that just let you know where the line in the sand was and no one with any sense EVER crossed it.
the rule was, if the boy couldn’t come in the house and meet good ol’ Dad, then he was not to date my daughter. They were never to answer a honking horn!!
Now all are grown and have put in place similar rules for their girls and joke about it at family reunions.
Two year age difference? (15/17) Put me down for the punishment already having been administered by the father. No prosecution warranted.

You think that if an adult believes a teen has committed a crime he is correct to enter the school and attack the teen?
What did you do in High School??? What did your parents do in High School??? HMMMMM!! If you or one of your family members ever acted in the same manner, then I expect you'll be marching down to the DA's office to turn yourself in and plead guilty to a sexual offense and we'll see you on the sex offender's registry soon. That is unless you're a hypocritical source of renewable wind energy.

i agree. IMHO, charges should be dropped on both the kid and the dad. the dad got to beat up the kid, the kid got beat. end of story.
all they need now is to properly punish the girl. maybe some time helping in the local delivery room, nursery, and health and human services office.

I have a feeling daddy probably didn’t know his daughter was seeing an older guy. So, he waits until something major happens in order to take an interest in her life.
