Dad started working in the lumber camps at age 14, the army from 41 to 46 married my mother at age 19 while home on leave
absolutely faithful to her for 59 years,, until the day he died.
Mom, Worked on a farm with her 3 sisters and 5 brothers, went to school and was top of her class, married my father at age 18, raised 6 kids, was absolutely faithful to my dad.
I put my life and my family up against anyones.
Of all the back and forth flaming and opinions expressed, I find it at least a little odd that not one of you addressed my thought that this principal was “part of the problem”, that is, the overall problem of this country’s continued slouch toward Gomorrah.
I don’t think the father was right in handling it like he did, either. But this H.S. Principal should shine a little light on himself if he can’t even understand why a father would be upset if his 15 year old daughter was out somewhere banging her boyfriend when she should have been in class.
So glad to know that none of the men here ever had consensual sex with their girlfriends in HS, or that none dated a girl a couple of years younger when they were 17 or so. I didn’t think men like that existed! They remained pure and chaste...good to know.
