Illegal immigrants moving out (attrition is working)
Sep. 28, 2007 | DesScorp

This story is from USA Today, which can't be quoted, so I'll just provide a summary and a link...

http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2007-09-26-moving_N.htm

In short, states cracking down on illegal aliens and enforcing the law are seeing unmistakable results....schools are seeing the children of illegals packed up into trucks and shipped off. Enforcement is making a difference.

Read the whole article. Enforcement and attrition works. Not only are illegal aliens going to sanctuary states, many are just going back to their home countries (or to Canada). So much for the "we have no choice but Amnesty" crowd.

Of course I don’t believe that!! I live in a state (Wa.) that is so full of voter fraud, via our Gov., that you can count the illegal votes at city hall. If we sit on our duffs during the next year...you can count on illegals doing whatever...so get in line behind them if you can’t move someone or something to stop it!!

It’s okay they’ll make them up at the pound and the cemetery.

A lot of them have mortgages here and won’t leave with anything.

Thats OK, most probably didn't put anything down, either.

If the GOP nominee takes a tough stance on illegals (no amnesty etc...) it will likely gain the nominee more votes than they would lose. It would also be difficult for Hillary to counter since her side is obviously pro-illegal.

That's a big IF. I'll go one step further and predict that IF the GOP nominee does not have a tough track record on illegal immigration, the base will stay home again. (The GOP lost 7% of the white vote in 2006. This time it could be worse, depending on if RINOs vs conservatives run.)

We can only hope that Hillary is the nominee.

Would it really matter if the GOP nominee is Rudy? Both are libs.

Several months ago, I was listening to one of those radio programs about a guy who did really, really well in the rental market. The question came up about how to get rid of problem tenants.

His solution was basically, to bribe them. Any of them who packed up and moved out within 10 days of getting their eviction notice could stop by the office, sign a paper and pick up three crisp new $50 bills. Even if their place wasn't perfectly clean and even if their security deposit and back rent was insufficient to cover it. The paper they signed, of course, waived all tenant rights including any lawsuits arising from the voluntary move-out.

Some of the callers thought he was daft, wondering why anyone would move out voluntarily when he was offering a bribe.

He explained that most of the $150 was covered by their security deposit. What was not was still cheaper than the legal eviction process-- particularly the way he timed the notices with the 10 days expiring about a week before they got their next welfare check.

I've often felt that we should do the same for illegals-- first ones out get a nice sack lunch and air conditioned bus plus some cash to pick up at the border, raised from fines against their former employers.

Rollin’ Rollin’ Rollin’

Keep movin’, movin’, movin’,
Though they’re disapprovin’,
Keep them doggies movin’ Rawhide!
Don’t try to understand ‘em,
Just rope and throw and grab ‘em,
Soon we’ll be living high and wide.
Boy my heart’s calculatin’
My true love will be waitin’, be waiting at the end of my ride.

Move ‘em on, head ‘em up,
Head ‘em up, move ‘em out,
Move ‘em on, head ‘em out Rawhide!
Set ‘em out, ride ‘em in
Ride ‘em in, let ‘em out,
Cut ‘em out, ride ‘em in Rawhide.

Rollin’, rollin’, rollin’
Rollin’, rollin’, rollin’
Rollin’, rollin’, rollin’
Rollin’, rollin’, rollin’
Rawhide!

CHORUS
Move ‘em on, head ‘em up
Head ‘em up, move ‘em on
Move ‘em on, head ‘em up
Rawhide

There is a town in Virginia, Hamden or something like that, that was a sanctuary city until they threw out the mayor and council and closed the day labor site and signed up for the 287 program.

We could sure benefit here in the sanctuary city of L.A. by throwing the mayor out along with most of the city council, our Governor, our Senators, and some of our Reps. They're on their knees to the hispanic vote here, and they have no intention of listening to the citizens. They've sold us out.

Aren't most of the citizens of LA Hispanic now? (I'm including the generations and generations of anchor babies in this, since they can vote.) I remember a map that was posted a while back of how LA has changed demographically over the years - it showed the invasion and takeover starting in the 50's pretty clearly.

Yes, lots of fine lifetime hispanic American families live here in the L.A. area, there always have been. Most of them resent the illegal aliens too.

The problem is that the illegals are here in hordes (a few million), and they've brought their Mexican culture of violence, lawbreaking and dependence with them. THEY are the problem that our so-called "leaders" have ignored all these years, and many of our towns have turned into Mexico clones.

Somehow they come up with $4,000 to pay a coyote to get them in here. With their American jobs they can easily buy the bus ticket back. Dry up the jobs, government bennies and let them know they’ll be arrested for being here illegally and they will self-deport. It’s just that simple.

You’re right, it really is that simple. Illegal immigration is a risk-reward thing. If there’s no reward, they won’t take the risk.
