The governor of a state should have had a handle on this before he even made the nomination. That's what background checks are for.
I'm not being sarcastic toward you. I live in Illinois with another worthless governor. Why we continue to vote incompetents into office is beyond me. But, then, I'm not your typical Illinoisan welfare hoer, either.

The main point is, Kaine has screwed up the Virginia Immigration Commission from the getgo, by appointing primarily liberals to run the commission. Kaine is done, put a fork in him.

This guy Omeish has been all over the internet and has been interviewed on the Laura Ingraham show with various guests, including Michelle Malkin. Malkin has written about Omeish on her web site for years.
The bottom line is this - Kaine and his cronies knew about this guy and appointed him anyway. The videos just put Kaine on the spot with no option, but to ask for his resignation.
You are exactly right. Kaine had to be put on the spot before he would do the right thing.
