voting is a precious right and I want the best for my country.

I have become very discouraged. Frankly I am beginning to think that this free republic (the US and its Constitution), have about the same chance of surviving to 2012 as Newt Gingrich gives us for beating Hillary.

The debate was quite enjoyable; not as stuffy as most debates. But yet, important questions were asked and answered.

The Republican point of view has a lot to offer this community and for the first time in this presidental election cycle some people in the audience may have heard a) viable solutions that have not been implemented and failed unlike decades of failed leftist policies that have destroyed these communities, and b) that the GOP doesn’t have fangs, horns, and long forked tail and actually cares about ALL Americans.

BUMP!!!! I think all candidates should take advantage of all forums to get the conservative message out. The more opportunities, the better. Kudos to those who showed up to spread the message.

He sure did, and he has a great personality and sense of humor.

I liked the way he didn’t really criticize the candidates who did not show up, but he joked and said that when his family has gatherings, they talk about the ones who aren’t there. :)

these early debates will provide some serious sound bites that will need to be defended a year from now. It could be that the big guys know what they are doing.

So, they may be abstaining from these debates to avoid the future possibility of having to defend something they say today?
