Its interesting that you mentioned UC Berkeley River Rat. I was on the UC Berkeley campus in the late 1970s and early 1980s when there were many protests about The University of California divesting in companies who were doing business in South Africa and what was then Rhodesia, I can vividly remember arguing with some of these buffoons (most were not students) about what a catastrophe would ensue if Mugabe (or any other ZNAU thug) came to power. You see my family has friends from both of these countries and I was aware of the political dynamics in this part of the world.
Well its been over 25 years and both countries have melted down as any sane person would have predicted. South Africa is about 10 years from the same status as Zimbabwe. I hope all the do-gooder liberals are happy. They are primarily responsible for what has transpired. I only wish that I could magically track down some of the people (fools) whom I argued with and ask them what they think of the situation now. If they have a conscious does it bother them? Blood is on their hands.
I mentioned them because I too remember their spirited and wrong headed arguments then - and their silence now.
The road to hell is paved with the victims of the “well intentioned”
“These are, by and large, oppressed and dispossessed white Rhodesians with English parents or grandparents, and in many cases British passports. “
We should let THOSE people in HERE. I meant the starving blacks who helped put Mugabe in there in the first place. As ye sow, so shall ye reap.

Liberals had a “dream”, but in reality it was delusional thinking brought on by early dementia. Thanks Jimmy.
