My impression is that poster bert was being sarcastic. The suggestion was that if Harry Reid doesn’t want to develop additional sources of energy, he should bear the consequences, and let the folks in Vegas sweat it out for awhile and see just how much they enjoy the kind of energy-poor future Reid envisions.
