No good American supports terrorism and while most terrorism in the world today is perpetrated by politicized Islam and its fascist philosophy, the very acts of terror they use on others is sometimes enough to drive others to use the same evil against them and their people. For example, the Hindus have suffered at the hands of radical Islam for ages, and there is a limit any people will suffer under until they resort to the same tactics in return. Or for example, one of the infamous organizations which have used terrorism many times is the Tamil Tigers of Sri Lanka, who are Hindus. And do not forget, the assassins of Mahatma Gandhi were Hindus. Do not think that there are radical Jewish organizations which are contemplating terrorist acts to strike back at Muslims in kind. During World War II, there were Jewish and Polish underground groups which engage in horrific terrorist bombings against German troops and German people who lived in what is now the former Soviet Union. There are Sunni Muslim terrorist organizations which are planning terrorist attacks on Iranian Shia Muslims. There are expatriated Iranians who may consider terrorist attacks on the current regime in Iran. There are many examples. And there are examples of those who might consider using a terrorist attack against Ahmad-I-Nejad.
Now, there was supposedly security arranged for Ahmad-I-Nejads personal appearance at Columbia University. But, you see, a plane could have crashed into that building. You see, terrorism can be not only evil, but clever.
The fact of the matter is, nothing happened. Which is good. Because the fact of the matter is, something could have happened. And if something did happen, and Ahmad-I-Nejad was murdered, or assassinated, in a terrorist attack what do you think would have happened?
Well, I would guess, the government of Iran would react with extreme prejudice.
You would have numerous conspiracy groups saying Bush did it.
In fact, if Ahmad-I-Nejad were to be taken out by a terrorist attack on American soil, it might result in another World War.
This is not the same as an appearance before the U.N.. And no, the security provided at Columbia, it isnt on the same level. Yes, we will be told, the United States government was carefully monitoring everything and ensuring security. But, it isnt the same.
The fact of the matter is, Columbia risked an international confrontation in the name of academia through their stupid arrogance in having this speech, debate, question and answer session with Ahmad-I-Nejad at the University.
Nothing happened. But something could have. And it was a very, very stupid idea.
Now some would say, it would be no loss if Ahmad-I-Nejad was taken out. But you see, there would be loss. Because, the only way it would have succeeded, is through terrorism. And this terrorism would have also taken innocent life.
In addition, such a terrorist attack, on American soil, would have very serious consequences. Much greater international consequences than anything the liberals argue about our presence in Iraq.
This was a very stupid idea. It was an idea of those who sit around at exclusive gentlemans clubs to chat and play billiards, and think they are intellectual by having rather strange fellows come and give them a talk at their club.
The world is a very complicated place. When one person thinks they are giving someone freedom to speak at one end of the pond, they are actually giving the person who is speaking all the more chances and status to kill other people at the other end of the pond.

They are such good gentleman, with curious friends. Hypocrites by inversion that thrive, less upon depression, than the fiction of depression and professors of the art of manufacturing philosophy.
Well, Mr. Ahmad-I-Nejad came, and went.
We are told, Columbia would have invited Hitler if it were 1942.
In fact, Hitler, if he came, would have addressed the audience in quite a fine manner.
In fact, Hitler would have done much better in answering any question in a very fine manner, than could have, than did, Ahmad-I-Nejad.
So fine in fact, that his stature would have been lifted up in the world.
And he might have lasted until 1948 instead of 1945.
And he might have been able to murder another two million Eastern Europeans, Jews, and such.
