I saw this show last night and thought the answer would be in the 50-60% range and almost fell off my chair!!

WOW!! I'd like to see who the polling audience is for this! ONLY 11% of Republicans believe it's important to stay and finish the job in Iraq!!??

I wonder if C "BS" had anything to do with this!?

First off, it’s Americans, not Republicans.

Second of all, it’s CBS.

I saw it too and thought the girl would surely lose because she was too low. She lost because she was too high. Amazing.

That “poll” is crap - men are more supportive of not cutting and running than women, same is true for Republicans over Democrats - the results show otherwise.

They must have just polled moveon members and Ron paul supporters,

I watched about 15 minutes of the first show. Between what I saw then and what they use in ads to promote the show, I needn’t watch any more.

Their BiaS virtually jumps off the screen.

Yeah, this show was interesting until that question. Drew Carey couldn’t even believe it. The other answers have been amazingly conservative.

According to the Power of 10 website, they use Rasmussen Reports for their data collecting and processing.

http://www.cbs.com/primetime/powerof10/community/index.php?ep=12&id=15

The only problem is that Rasmussen reports posted the results of the poll on its own website, and the *ACTUAL* number was 36%:

“Currently, 36% of American adults take an entirely different view and believe that the troops should remain in Iraq until the mission is complete.”

http://rasmussenreports.com/public_content/current_events/top_stories/59_want_u_s_troops_home_from_iraq

I sent an email to Rasmussen and to Newsbusters asking them to address the discrepancy. I didn’t feel like wasting my time emailing CBS.

So C “BS” gets caught lying again...
