And now we have Ahmadinejad's quote of the day!
On executions of homosexuals in Iran:In Iran we don't have homosexuals like in your country. We don't have that like in your country. ... In Iran we do not have this phenomenon. I don't know who's told you that we have this.
This would be laughable if the truth was not that they execute them. I just can't understand why the left, who say they love gay rights, want to force kids to learn tolerance in third grade, etc...are so quick in defending this thug.

“They kill them. Are you suggesting that is the way to handle them?”
Didn’t say kill them but we don’t have to follow the Ancient Roman and Greek belief in accepting such sexual deviance as normal. The practices of gerbiling, fisting, rimming, and felching are not acceptable and the outcome is a lifestyle with a lifespan on par with IV drug users, which is another behavior that should not be tolerated. Sexual deviance, whether homosexual of pedophilic is not behavior to be condoned or accepted any more than theft, rape, or whatever form that is not in the interest of a stable society. The vast majority of male homosexuals seek sex with little boys. The “gay” parades used to always have Nambla representation — only recently has this part of the “gay” lifestyle become less acceptable.
The left defend Ahmadinejad because they have many things in common, with the most obvious being their hatred of America.
A better question that should have been asked was just how have you rid Iran of AIDS?
He was bragging to the rest of the Middle East about how he had rid Iran of AIDS several months ago.
BTTT
yeah actually you have a point with the greeks. i had a landlord for 1 month who was this big obese married man who all of a sudden turned gay for me. worst month of my life, i almost did jailtime because of the final outcome of this pig. it also cemented (very biased) why the turks and greeks don’t get along. anyways it’s a month i don’t want to remember but he’s lucky he’s alive.
In turkey, i have to say it’s a very loose culture. We can drink in public, park wherever we want without a ticket, the police are the ones with redeye (i think they smoke the good weed) and people marry young here. people basically get married out of highschool and the divorce rate is low.
In 1999 i was here for another extended vacation and there was one gay man in a different town who was just sorta innocent/laughed at but left to his own. Honestly i have gaydar, you can sense it. but i also help people with cd’s etc and everyone reallly seems straight, into women, thats all. It actually gets on my nerves how horny these people are but they like their women. I’ve been here for a year and a half and haven’t noticed one.
So in a way, i see the point Iran’s president made. There’s a big contrast from this town and a bar in BC where i was whipping pennies at an over-flamboyant gay bartenders head.
I did a bit of research on my country and homosexuals and all i could find was this,

Anyways, no matter what sexuality you are, i believe it should stay behind closed doors and not anybodys business. If one is going against the common grain, don’t close down my main roads for a freakin parade, thats just wrong. There’s obviously a chromosome gone wrong.
I debated this in high school and still can now. and it’s very simple. Take away modern science and artificial insemination and allthat.
if you put all ‘truly in love’ gay couples on an island, with everything. All food, water, drinks, etc etc. It would take one generation for them to die because they simple can’t reproduce.
Mosquitoes can.
That should say enough.
