At a lively town hall meeting Sunday, billed as a discussion about "peace and accountability," emotions directed at U.S. Rep. Earl Blumenauer ranged from calm to screaming mad. Nearly all of it was about one subject:

Impeachment of President Bush.

Angered by what they view as an immoral war and a corrupt administration, people in the crowd hammered on the theme of a congressional trial of Bush and wondered whether the controlling Democrats have the spine for it.

The money quote:

Some went even further, calling for Bush to be tried for treason. One Southeast Portland resident said the president "should be executed -- in public." A number in the audience applauded.

Moonbats call for the execution of our President in a public meeting with a member of Congress in attendance. Unbelievable!

Last I heard threatening the life of the President was a federal crime. Hope the secret service and FBI on on this.

For liberals, all wars that are not supporting some murderous dictator or communist are immoral.

Anything that is in our interest and especially led by a Republican is of course EVIL!

We need to take the Internet away from these moonbat fools. They just whip themselves into a foaming frenzy over their own lies to themselves about what is going on.

I don’t know what the congresscritter’s response was but it’s very likely he said we just don’t have the votes at this point.

“Moonbats call for the execution of our President in a public meeting with a member of Congress in attendance.”

I was in a discussion with some leftist looney on another message board one time who was calling for Bush’s death. I responded, “If it means that much to you, why don’t you do it yourself?”

Of course, like all liberal cowards, he didn’t respond.

“Angered by what they view as an immoral war and a corrupt administration”

This is BS, the left has been trying to figure out how to over turn the election of Bush since the chad scam in 2000. Just like the dems keep trying to find a new way to say surrender and hope it works, these moonbats keep trying to get the election over turned. Is this going to be the norm now? Every Person elected president will have the opposite side trying to have them impeached?

The poor democrat congressperson was in a bind. Having belonged to the party that promised to get the U.S. out of the war and that Bush should be impeached, has failed to deliver.

What is happening is their base is calling them on it and voicing their displeasure. More democrat politicians will drink Kuchy's Koolaid and if enough do San Francisco Nancy may violate her pledge not to. If so, President George Bush will be able to show how he has defended the country and the dems will look like fools.

Go dems go, go Left Dems, Go Left. Yippee

Luke, the force can have a strong effect upon the weak minded. (Especially the DARK SIDE...)

They are angrier about President Bush than they are about the Iranian dictator nutjob getting a speaking engagement at a taxpayer funded school.

And the school claims to be a forum for “diverse” opinions, so long as they are on the Right.

I won’t fill out their form to get to page 2, but from what I read on page 1 it’s the usual Moonbat Leftist crap.

Another Commiecrat visiting the asylum leading the choir in rant.

“For liberals, all wars that are not supporting some murderous dictator or communist are immoral.”

For liberals anything done by a Republican is immoral, even if its the same thing that was done by one of their own (e.g. Clinton). They don’t really have a consistent ideology. They just hate.

Note to angry a$$wipes:

If you are really that angry and that disgusted by this war, then kick out the 373 lawmakers in DC that voted for it.

Amazing how, on one hand, you call the President an ape, an idiot, a moron, an imbecile, stupid, etc., and yet, on the other hand, you credit him with, single handedly, destroying life as you know it.

Have you ever had the thought, that if all of you “geniuses” had put your collective energy into helping us win this thing, that our troops would have been home 3 years ago, doin' 12 ounce curls, on the tailgate, while rootin’ for their favorite team?

No, I thought not.

There are a lot of government employees and unemployed people which are the core base of Democrats.

They will try anything.

Conservatism's greatest asset to stop all that is education, speaking to the public about what are lies and what is the truth.
The reason radio is ruled by conservatives in politics is it is a forum for real discussion and when you discuss liberal views compared to conservative ones, the conservative views always rule the day.

So, we need to get the public informed better to stop the liberal BS in my opinion.
