I disagree completely. The mainstream will forget about this foolishness and will be in full scare mode for the next crisis in their dream of bringing about global socialism and tearing down the US. Global Warming will be conveniently forgotten.

Well, you're probably right. There's another thread around here detailing how some German Nazi came and spoke at Columbia in the 1930's. That doesn't get talked about much during the run-up of Iran's leader coming to Columbia.

Perhaps pre-internet and 24-hour cable news that would have been true. You may be right but far too much has been filmed, written and politicized about this particular manufactured crisis for it to be simply forgotten, IMO.
