My bet is Dobson has his own preference since this is still the primaries.
Dobson's man is Newt Gingrich.
His attack on Fred Thompson was orchestrated to try to sow discontent with Thompson in order to make room for Newt to enter the race.

The odd part about this is, supposedly, Newt was helping Thompson before he officially jumped in.

Although that might be the intent (and the ultimate effect), I doubt it is a formal conspiracy involving Dobson and Gingrich.

Gingrich is too controversial to win even against Hillary's negatives. Too bad we couldn't take Gingrich's policies and Huckabee's personal life and put them together.
