Relax. He could have just as easily said "Horse $#!t", and meant the same thing.
FYI, Motor vehicles are not allowed on the island, transportation is by horse and buggy.
i lived in St. Ignace for a while, and could see the island from my front window.
Up there by the locks it has an energy all of its own I remember vividly eating at a place that had huge glass plate windows over looking the locks and it was dusk and so the neo lights were on and you could watch the people scurry by!

I’m impressed even though MI is his home state, as is Massachusetts and Utah (where he headed up the Olympics). I think he would sell in CA also with his style and wife.
Fred is just Bob Dole redux. He will appear tired, bored and old (and he is suffering from cancer although he says non-terminal). He is not inspiring like Reagan, but negative and cynical. I like him out there to put folks in their place, ala Cheney, but he can’t head the ticket.
Let’s just see what the primaries give us. Perhaps a brokered convention, which is not necessarily a bad thing.
