Did Chris Wallace at least ask the Hidabeast about Hsu and his ties to the Democrats?

That question was not on Hillary's list of pre-approved topics.

Hillary is so slick its scary!

I just watched her answer Woof Woof's question about whether or not she would vote to keep troops in Iraq and her reply--"I have voted for that Woof"

Of course an hour earlier she told Tim she "would not vote one more dollar for the war from now on", so she continues(triangulating) to try and fool everyone with the help of a willing (with heads now probably spinning) DBM.

All things to all people, slick slick.

He also observed that Clinton's fiscal policy was far more sound than that of George Bush and the 2001 Republican Congress

Factually incorrect.

Raising taxes, as Clinton and the Democrats did, was not a sound fiscal move. Cutting them, as Bush and the GOP Congress did was sound. Cutting spending, as the GOP Congress did was sound. Bill Clinton's vetoing dozens of spending bills that the Republican Congress sent him until the Republican Congress spent enough money to suit his whimsy was not sound

Snugs' recipes are a VERY long time tradition on the Sunday talk show thread. If you don't like them, don't read them!

I look forward to them... they're the closest thing I've seen to a real, home-cooked meal since my divorce ;).

I guess someone needs to explain BASIC Civics to you. GW Bush did not do that. YOUR CONGRESS did that.

I know, don’t bother you with facts, you have your dogma and you are sticking to it.

Great catch, the Clinton Crime family is nothing if not slick!

Woof woof just asked the Hildabeast "if she stole the silky pony's health care plan". She gave a non-answer by saying "she welcomes everyone to the fight that she started 14 years ago" for (universal health care).

All that means is that yes she probably did steal Edwards's plan!

But than she is "The Hillary"(its like being the first and most powerful vampire) she can does anything she want with impunity and than claims it never happened.

The msm/dbm will back her, no doubt.

GWB has tried and tried to reform social security just read a small portion on the White House website but unfortunately those in Congress have not got the courage to actually do anything about it.

She brings up Iran and Syria. Brings up a report of an Israeli attack on Syria (for some reason, I thought that story was disproven, but I could be wrong).

as Lucius Cornelius Sulla said in post 349, Netenyahu confirmed that a raid took place.  There's a thread that includes several quotes from an article about it

The Whispers of War
Newsweek ^ | Dan Ephron and Mark Hosenball

Including this gem:

Israeli warplanes carried out a mysterious raid deep in Syria and then threw up a nearly impenetrable wall of silence around the operation. Last week opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu chipped away at that wall, saying Israel did in fact attack targets in Syrian territory. His top adviser, Mossad veteran Uzi Arad, told NEWSWEEK: "I do know what happened, and when it comes out it will stun everyone."

The article ties the strike in Syria to likely war with Iran.

In addition there's this post in that thread:

To: maquiladora

John Bolton, on FOX this A.M., seemed to think it was a strike in Syria on a NK nuc. facility. Since neither country had been complaining at the UN about the strike, this seems like a reasonable assumption. Hush, hush and all. They certainly wouldn’t want the world to know what they were up to.

It is also worth noting that the rest of the Muslim governments appear to be refraining from any condemnation of Israel over the attack.  Newsweek talks about this being part of a Cheney plot to provoke war, in effect saying that we gave Israel a "green light" for the attack in Syria.  I find that non-reaction of the other governments in the ME to be a "green light" for Israel as well.

Shrillary: robotic, contrived + controlled, SLICK.
FEAR HER!

Most disingenuous lies I heard this morning:

~~~~~~
Shrillary: “You know, I’m not intimidated by all of the efforts to try to undermine what I think is right for the country or to come after me or Democrats personally, because I think we need to try to get back to the center.”
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,297746,00.html
Same show:
Newt: “I’m not going out on personal ambition.”
She filibusters her canned answer about CFR.
This is exactly how the Clintons handled the Chinese money scanal in the 90s. Fred Thompson let them get away with it in his committe, and McCain actually facilitated the cover-up by championing their diversion, CFR.
The Republican reaction to that scandal is what convinced me that I could not depend on Republicans to stand up to the Democrats. They had the Clintons by the neck and they didn't follow through. They never do and the Democrats get to come back from scandals as if they never happened.
