ARTICLE SNIPPET: “Detailed contingency planning for a possible attack on Iran has been carried out for more than two years by Centcom (US central command), according to defence sources.”
Nor was it likely very secret before we read it here. Our govt. is full of blabber-mouths.
Sometimes I wonder if these “leaks” are a deliberate attempt to gather intelligence on the enemy by closing monitoring their response. Walk around a well lit kitchen and only the stupidest roaches are in plain sight. Stamp your foot or wiggle the light switch a couple of times, and you can see what dark corners they run to.
You’re reading that the team exists. You don’t read where the team meets, who is on the team, how many people are in the team, and what they are planning. This sounds like a controlled leak to make the Iranians sweat a little.
