WASHINGTON Prodded by Congress and human rights groups, the Bush administration is promising to increase the pace for allowing Iraqi refugees into the United States.
Of the estimated 4.2 million Iraqis displaced by the war, either to nearby countries or within Iraq, only 68 Iraqis legally entered the U.S. between October and June as refugees, State Department and Homeland Security officials acknowledged Friday.

We all knew this was coming. Terrorist Country and we are allowing more potential terrorist in. Yes, not all but one terrorist is way too many.
Thanks W. Love the fence along the border you built.
Just what we need: hundreds of thousands of more bitter muslims.
Those Iraqis must be standing in the wrong line. We let 10,000 people in from countries that the government has labeled as “terrorist countries.” Iraqis need to get in that line and they’ll be in like Flynn.
Bush will boost flow of Iraqi refugees...
Bush will boost flow of mexican refugees....
bush allowing terrorists and parasites to destroy america...
the lib/dems back him 100%
Well I certainly saw this coming. And I’ll bet the majority will land in Minneapolis.
And Dearborn.
Don’t forget Somalian and Hmong. Alot of them the aged and infirm, collecting SSI. Yes we need more third world refugees to drain us.

Yep, I thought of Dearborn as well. But is their welfare as good as Minnesota’s?
If they personally risked their lives and the lives of their families by working with the U.S. military as translators or working at the embassy, then I have no issue allowing them in.
Not all Iraqis are muslim. I would hope (but doubt) that the refugees are Christians who are being targeted by muslims.
Our troops are giving their lives and risking their lives every day to make Iraq safer. Let our troops come home first.
U.S. may open doors to 25,000 refugees |

No matter what you do for or to muslims, at the end of the day we will still be infidels and they will still hate us.
“Bush will boost flow of Iraqi refugees”
This is bad for business.
It telegraphs a couple of messages:
1. Flee Iraq, get a trip and home in the USA.
2. Is the war in Iraq lost? Don’t we usually take in lots of refugees
AFTER a war is over?
Yippie. Just what we need more Islamists.
susie
Exactly what I was wondering. The war isn't even over and we're seeing politicians trying to push thru more Iraqis at a FASTER pace, which increases the danger of letting in terrorists.
Being pushed by Ted Kennedy, BTW.
