Wow, how incredibly stupid can you be. Stunt or not, it is inconceivable that a professional delivering an important speech before a live audience would allow himself to be interrupted for ANY reason during that speech.
Stunt or not, if I was in the audience, the last word I would have heard would have been “hello”, because if I didn’t actually get up and leave, I would certainly not pay attention to another word spoken. Being that the speaker was running for president, I would make it my life’s goal to insure nobody I knew would vote for him.
Just incredibly, unspeakably stupid, stunt or not. Completely unprofessional and profoundly disrespectful to the members of the audience. Shows a complete and total lack of judgment. The man is not fit to be president. I’m sorry...
Just remembered Bush Senior’s famous glance at his watch during a debate ‘gainst Clindong. Deja vu all over again... Maybe Fred’s pressure is already making Rudy begin to crack, as Hillary’s did in that New York Senate race.

It went over like a Kerry joke. His audience wasn’t looking for oddball humor... they were looking for a reason of why they should be so stupid as to vote for him.
