Actually, I think it is good that they focus on Guiliani’s disrespectful stunt. Fred gave a great speech, but NRA members know he is the candidate to support. This cell phone incident calls into question some of Rudy’s other overtures to conservatives, especially on right to life. If he is this disdainful of the Second Amendment and its supporters, it is a small leap to believe that the “strict constructionist” pledge to prolifers is just smoke and mirrors as well. (especially since he has already said his strict constructionist nominees could either uphold or reverse Roe v. Wade and still be “strict constructionists” in his view.)
I am glad the MSM is not giving him a pass on this, in spite of the damage control efforts by Rudy bloggers and pundits.

This was staged to push the image of Rudy as a loving family man, since his 2 divorces are seen as a major obstacle to the GOP nomination.
No one is actually dumb enough to believe that Judi had no idea that Rudy was on stage giving a major speech to the NRA at that very moment, are they?

Who knows how long Judy will last? For now she’s a good prop. Rudy is ANTI GUN so you know darn well him and Judy we’re discussing it before the event.

Remember, the Rudy-Apologists keep reminding us that he has 'cajones' and,,,,to use their words, 'takes no crap'. Yep, this latest act in Rudy's 'cellphone' shtick highlights that very fact once again....lol I guess that being rude, inconsiderate (even to your fellow Republicans,,,especially CONSERVATIVES,,,,is something we can look forward to.
The last thing in the world our Party needs,,,,,is to nominate an authoritarian, big government, arrogant LIBERAL with 'cajones',,,,that 'takes no crap'.

The cell phone company would have a record of the cell tower from whence the call was transmitted.

Maybe Rudy is getting bad advice from ex-Saturday Night Live writers. This stunt just demonstrates that “Americas Mayor” is disconnected from the voters.

And what I've gathered from reading the NY newspapers, and old archives, that was a major cause for NY MSM's dislike of him. Not so much that he wasn't a liberal like them, but that he was an arrogant, ignorant, liberal bully.
The rudybots like to say he has 'cajones', that's nonsense. He has a God (or Napoleon) complex. He's also a psycho; Google 'Rudy and Ferrets'. He sounds certifiable.
That phone call was so phony (no pun intended) that someone should track down where it came from. I can't believe that anyone (he AND his staff would have had to have overlooked his cell phone) would that irresponsible (especially since this is the second time it has happened)--to accidentally be THAT rude and THAT inconsiderate.
Maybe he thought it was humorous,,,but even if that was his intent,,,,it shows horrible judgment given the nature of what was publicized as an important speech.
In any event, it shows how little class Rudy has.
Sounds like he needs to be in deep Neo-Freudian analysis.
