A Tacoma man who falsely claimed he was a decorated war hero when he took the stage at demonstrations held in opposition to the U.S.'s role in Iraq was sentenced this morning to five months in prison in U.S. District Court in Seattle.

I was in Iraq (Ramadi) when this fool started his BS stories, and I was only too happy to be involved even in the tiniest bit with the blog swarm. Hats off to my fellow FReepers, who exposed this little howler monkey for what he is - but WHY, only five months?

Good! Thanks for posting this. I hope more fraudulent Iraq War protesters get busted. A lot of the Vietnam War protesters were frauds and should have been busted.
A better punishment would be to make him finish boot camp...and let his fellow recruits know why he’s there.
