Yesterday on FOX, Bernie Goldberg said that Rather believes his firing was the result of a Republican conspiracy to get him. His “logic” is that CBS was convinced to appoint the Attorney General from the Reagan/Bush 1 administrations (Dick Thornburgh) to the two-person committee that investigated Rathergate.
