Where are all the Ron Paul people coming from?
The Oregon Poll ^

Over the last two days The Oregon Poll was seen by almost 400 "unique visitors," most of them in support of Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul. The majority of these people came from these two links on the web.

"Did Karl Rove disassociate himself from La Raza?" I didn't know Bush or Karl Rove was running against Ron Paul?
Derangement is too soft a word.

I didn't know Bush or Karl Rove was running against Ron Paul? So only politicians running for office should be questioned or critizised for attending racist meetings or functions?
Top White House aids and current office holders are exempt?
Where you outraged when a top White House aid spoke at a La Raza gathering?

"Where you outraged when a top White House aid spoke at a La Raza gathering?" Nice try at deflection, but I'm starting to feel like on The Matrix, where I am blocking blows in slow motion. Another analogy is "shooting fish in a barrel".
Here are the facts. Ron Paul's foreign policy views are fatal to the claim of Ron Paul being a Conservative. Any pro Ron Paul thread here on Freerepublic will be treated as hostile.
...just staying on focus.

Id vote for him, or Duncan Hunter or Tom Tancredo. I understand your frustration. But it's not his stance on illegals which defines Paul. Instead, it's his absolutely insane approach to Iraq and the War on Terror.
It makes no sense to vote for somebody who is right on illegals...and then walk away from the War on Terror.
Hunter is great. Tancredo is, too.
But Paul's ideas about foreign relations are simply...well, kookie. Which makes him extremely dangerous.

If you read back, and pay attention, I was responding to someone that was questioning this candidates alleged connection to questionable groups. The comparison was legitimate.

"This must be a contest to see who can reach cognitive saturation with the least amount of information." It takes a minimum of two to make a contest.

"If you read back, and pay attention, I was responding to someone that..." Well, I try and not lead, or follow a diversion, but I digress from time to time too.

I realize politics can be a nasty business, but the fact is what's going on here is a plain old Borking. 'Borking', -- a verb meaning "to attack a person's reputation and views unfairly".
I agree, the mans reputation is being smeared.
However, fair questions are being raised about his constitutional views on war-making powers, - questions that he has not [to date] answered satisfactorily.
So, - just like Bork, he has brought the whirlwind down on his own head.

I know there's some legitimate questions involved, but I don't see this as having the potential to provide any rational answers.
While they may have accomplished their immediate goal, I think that ultimately Bork's detractors did more long-term damage to their own reputations than they did his.

The difference lies in the fact that some of Pauls issues are self inflicted.
