Over the last two days The Oregon Poll was seen by almost 400 "unique visitors," most of them in support of Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul. The majority of these people came from these two links on the web.

Im going to do a write-in vote for Ross Perot. Please tell me hes still alive, I dont want to look like an idiot.I wouldn't worry about it. I write in Morris the Cat every election and I KNOW he's dead.

Nutjob spouts platitudes not supported by his actual positions. Nutjob disciples lap it up greedily and uncritically.
How foolish can they get?

Tell me, why does our current leadership, aid and abet, and actually encourage this massive violent invasion of our country?

I just took the FR poll. I'm amazed that 6% of the FR "members" support Ron Paul. Yes, that's 6% of the FR MEMBERS support Ron Paul.

The Jooos? Ah yes, it's that massive Jew conspiracy eh?
Wow

Simple, they falsely believe that economic security is directly tied to cheap labor and that cutting off that flow would be as devastating as a massive terrorist attack. (..and before you ask, no I don’t agree with their standpoint..)
They also believe that our neighbor to the south is on a fine line between of falling to a Chavez/Castro regime, and as long as they are dependent on us, they will reject the communist overtures. They would rather deal with the criminal status quo we have coming in now than a potential Chavez supported Communist Mexico who has no stake in what happens to us.

Yes, that's 6% of the FR MEMBERS support Ron Paul. Why is it that a site which attracts Conservatives (at least self-identified as such) has only a 6% support rate for a candidate who we are told represents true conservatism? Are the other 94% stupid?

Funny, someone asks: Tell me, why does our current leadership, aid and abet, and actually encourage this massive violent invasion of our country?
And we get Jay Leno type responses. Hehehe.

Thank you. That is the correct response to a Paulnut. There is no point in trying to converse with them.

****Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee won the Palmetto Family Council Straw Poll Thursday night - a sign that he may be gaining a foothold amongst the conservative right of the state’s Republican Party.
Huckabee got 206 of the 539 votes cast. He edged U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, who got 179, but had a very vocal support group. They waved banners and wore stickers. Cheered their candidate when he spoke via telephone to the crowd. One man walked across the convention floor filming them.
Former U.S. Sen. Fred Thompson, R-Tenn., had 43 votes to finish third. He was followed by U.S. Sen. Sam Brownback, R-Kan., with 29; U.S. Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif, with 25; former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney with 14; North Carolina businessman Daniel Gilbert had 12; U.S. Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., with 10; Hugh Cort, an Alabama doctor, with seven, and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani with five.*****
Those folks, who think that Fred T. can energize the republican base, should take a good look at this poll.
Huckabee’s message is tailored for this type group. RP doesn’t tailor his message to any specific group.

Actually, a Leno type response would be that it is because President Bush likes Tacos. Petronski was simply refusing to play your little game because we’ve seen it played dozens of times here and we all can predict where it is going..
