His message might have more impact if he would use “strippers for ru” to give the message....

But we must never let discouragement become surrender. I agree. We must see the War on Terrorism through to the end.

Ron, can you see the little bird perched on my hand? BTW, are you going to escort your buddy Imanutjob down to Ground Zero, since you think he is not a threat to us?

No mention of the islamo-scum that threaten to destroy us.
But he did mention the patriot Act, while failing to note that many of those who voted for it and support it are also the MOST vocal on our loss of sovereignty. Including two of his colleagues, Duncan Hunter and Tom Tancredo.

When Hunter was in law school, Paul was already in Congress supporting the military & U.S. sovereignty.

As a conservative site, Free Republic is pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-Constitution, pro-Bill of Rights, pro-gun, pro-limited government, pro-private property rights, pro-limited taxes, pro-capitalism, pro-national defense, pro-freedom, and-pro America. We oppose all forms of liberalism, socialism, fascism, pacifism, totalitarianism, anarchism, government enforced atheism, abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, racism, wacko environmentalism, judicial activism, etc. We also oppose the United Nations or any other world government body that may attempt to impose its will or rule over our sovereign nation and sovereign people. We believe in defending our borders, our constitution and our national sovereignty. Statement by the Founder of Free Republic
Please read and compare Jim's statement with Paul's statement posted above.

Ron Paul’s ideas of supporting the military are not exactly a selling point.

If only he would stop the neocon crap, I would vote for him. Does the above post sound like the rantings of an anti-war leftist or neocon conspiracy kook to you? Do you agree that the National ID, NAU, UN, socialist education, central bank, and regressive income tax are all real or should I take the green pill and wake up as if nothing happened?

Ron Pauls ideas of supporting the military are not exactly a selling point. Maybe so now, but he has always been pro-U.S. sovereignty, more so than Hunter and Tancredo combined.

You know Jim Rob has spoken out against Ron Paul on several posts and does not support him. I understand that, which is why I excerpted the part about the borders and sovereignty. Which means that Paul still supports 90% of what Jim said and he'll still be better on foreign policy and the war than the Dims & some of the GOP candidates.

I really wish one of our presidential candidates would build a speech around Jim’s points. And mean it.

Ron Paul is the only GOP candidate that would retreat and surrender to Al Qaeda in Iraq.

Maybe you should ping Jim when you talk about what he believes. Shouldn’t he have an opportunity to comment?

Ron Paul is the only GOP candidate that would retreat and surrender to Al Qaeda in Iraq. It'll be the year 2050 and you guys will still be complaining about the need to "stay the course." While I have always disagreed with Paul on an immediate withdrawal, I sure in the heck don't want any permanent bases or long-term commitment either in the Middle East.
None of the Democrats though are in favor of strict border security or a strong national defense. Paul would at least secure the country, and warn the ragheads if they ever think about attacking us again it'll be their asses. Tell me, if the race boiled down to Paul or a Dem you wouldn't boogie to the voting booth for Paul just because a portion of his foreign policy sucks.
