25 Democrats Voted against it and 3 Democrats didn't vote!
We are pleased to announce that the Senate voted and passed the Cornyn Amendment condemning detestable attacks on General Petraeus and U.S. Armed Forces!
By a vote of 72-25 (3 not-voting), the Senate passed the Cornyn Amendment that strongly condemns any effort to attack the honor and integrity of General Petraeus and all members of the U.S. Armed Forces. This Amendment also sends a clear message to the U.S. Armed Forces, letting them know that MoveOn.org and their liberal cohorts in the Senate do not speak for the majority of Americans.
However, 25 Democrats voted AGAINST this amendment that supports the U.S. Armed Forces and 3 Democrats didn't even take the time to vote!
Look at this list and if your Senator voted against the amendment, please use the below form to tell them that you are disappointed in their vote on the Cornyn Amendment on H.R. 3074. If they are not listed below, send them an email using the below form to thank them for supporting the amendment.

disgusting.....
Thanks. I knew he had been re-elected, but suddenly he is nowhere!
is that true??? And if so why?? Is he too chicken to vote on this?!
Yes it is true.
As reported on HughHewitt.com.
If any of you have any inkling of what kind of presidential timber Illinois Senate Barack Obama possesses, all you have to do is look at this vote. The Cornyn vote was called, Obama came to the floor, and when he discovered what the vote was for, he left the floor and didn’t cast a vote. He literally ran away from merely casting a vote to support our top military general in the field. But that’s not even the most telling moment of the vote.

Massachusetts does too.
Reid, Levin, Menendez, Clinton, etc etc...the usual suspects.
Get a load of this, Dingy. 26 members of your own party are against you on this. Ditch the surrender amendments, would ya? The surge is working whether you like it or not!
I wonder if cut and run Paul was in the Senate: How do you think he would have voted?
No tellin.......Who cares though? Ron Paul will never be President of the US!!
“This is going to come back to bite Hillary on the butt.”
Big target.
someone in the DBM needs to ask him how he would have voted
the usual suspects....
I’m with you in the ‘ashamed’ dept., I’ve got Lautenberg and Menendez..corrupt to the core like all of NJ

Just what Satan wants to hear from anyone who does believe in God-—remember, Satan rules this earth for a time but will pay dearly for it when Christ returns and destroys all sin and those who follow it-—keep the Faith and realize that we are fortunate to be living in a time when we can see that the end of this wicked world is near-—dosen’t really take much thought to understand that our world cannot continue too long at the rate of decay of any morals and decency that is apparant in all society, anywhere on earth—God Bless you and yours

I automatically assumed that Teddy the Swimmer and John F’n Kerry had voted against it, and I was right.
I’ve felt the exact same way about Ted Kennedy for the last few decades.
God bless Sen. Cornyn!!
The more I see of him - the more I like him - for President or Supremem Court!
He seems fully qualified!
I called my Senator, Brown, they told me he voted on free speech grounds. So..I guess that means we can count on him voting no on the fairness doctrine..right? right? What? you mean he will only support free speech for liberals. I AM SHOCKED!!!!!!! Mike DeWine...we are sorry
It's a sad day, folks, when legislation has to be drawn up to minimize the slamming of our military heroes by our own politicians.
This whole business makes me want to puke.
