I’m certainly no fan of Sanger but she gets a bad rap in the “race” department. I have seen numerous things attributed to her that were never in her writings.

Again, she was a fundamentally flawed, pseudo-intellectual, liberal even by today’s standards but she is not the, “exterminate the black race” monster she is painted as. I found her writings to be far less racist than many newspaper articles of the same period.

Before I am accused of defending Sanger, let me say that I am not. I share none of her views on abortion nor a host of other issues. I’m simply defending facts. Painful as it was, I read her works. A great deal of what is written about her from certain pro-life activists simply is not accurate.

“Maybe it’s just me who finds it refreshing to find someone who passes for a leader in the black seperatist community talking about abortion like its a bad thing.”

You are assuming way too much. She only considers it bad in the context that more black babies are killed than whites.

“Need to Investigate Evidence of Racism Everywhere”

We sure do and we can start with the NAACP, The Black Caucus, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson etc

This Dr. King is nuts! to hear her tell it, we’re all out to abort black babies. deny them a fundamental right to live! Unless I’m mistaken, no one is dragging black girls into abortion clinics against their will. Looks to me like her time might be better spent encouraging young black girls to keep their panties on, and young black males to keep it zipped. Sad to see the poverty pimps are still out in force.

Uh, I don't see where I said every differernt. Since the majority of these creeps are 100% pro-abortion, it's a start. At least Reverend Doctor King associates the practice of abortion with babies getting murdered.

The poverty pimp, Al Crapton has said this could be the start of the 21st Century Civil Rights movement! Oh please Al!....give it a rest. That’s what this hack wants more than anything...to lead the poor beaten down blacks into the light of day. Al, the only thing you remind me of is a 2 dollar a day ambulance chasing lawyer!

....allegedly six black guys beat a white guy even though the white guy was unconscious at the time. But I notice this charge is left out of most of the liberal blogs I’m reading. Isn’t that interesting?

It’s a Damn shame us white people are dragging these blacks to the abortion clinic and having them KILL their babies against their will.

Fine, I’ll surrender and make one point that a lot of people seem to have missed here:

If it was somehow so important that the “Duke Lacrosse Players” were Lacrosse Players, how come the “Jena6” aren’t the “Jena Football Players.” Is Reverend Al ashamed of the fact that they were all on the football team?

The kid got beat up and probably deserved it. Getting 20 years in prison was way over the top. When I was in 9th grade, me and a friend got jumped by five kids in El Paso. They beat us pretty good and took our money. They all got expelled, but not one of those kids got jail time.

here six African American high school students involved in a fight with white students

Not "students"...a single student. And since when is a 6-on-1 beating called a "fight"?

I hear Mack Brown is in Jena, trying to recruit the boys to come play for the University of Texas.

“and an outspoken critic of abortion, particularly because it is a racist institution”

While I am anti-abortion, I don’t agree with her premise. No one forces blacks to get abortions, they volunteered to get abortions. You can’t blame poverty driving them to it since the system PAYS the poor to kick out kids. If people, black and white, would “choose” to let babies live we would not be having this discussion.

from the nooses strung from a tree that helped provoke the fight to the vast difference in the severity of treatment given to white and black participants."

As the D.A. has shown, that incident occurred MONTHS before this assault, and in between that time the football season began and white and black students played and socialized together with not a single racial incident. This beating was totally unprovoked.

[...African American high school students involved in a fight with white students...]

If we were to write this even-handedly, it would look like:

...black high school students involved in a fight with white students...

or

...African American high school students involved in a fight with European American students...

I’m just sayin’, is all.

While I am anti-abortion, I don’t agree with her premise.

But that's the thing: In order for her premise to work, abortion has to be some sort of atrocity (to use the left's term). In other words, regardless of whether whitey is the cause, it still has to stop. I'll stipulate that a lot of white people are getting rich aborting black babies. So what's the answer? More BLACK abortionists?

6 against 1 is not a fight unless the 1 is Chuck Norris!

That's still not a fair fight ;)

no one is dragging black girls into abortion clinics against their will.

Ever been to an abortion mill? You'll see many mothers and boyfriends propelling girls in the door against their wills, aided by special "clinic escorts" who are there to make sure the girls don't change their minds and escape. It's an absolutely unbelievable scene. Everyone there knows it's murder.

Yes Planned Parenthood and other abortionists put their "businesses" in black neighborhoods (and other poor neighborhoods) preferentially. Abortion is killing babies; so they are indeed guilty of trying to exterminate black babies. It doesn't cut any mustard with me that they willingly exterminate whites, too.

I've seen the Sanger quotes in the original, and she was a piece of work. Not that there weren't many other socialist policy quacks and scientists in that day who despised the poor they claimed to be serving, and had a grand plan to sterilize and kill them off. But she was one of them.

"The kid is out of the hospital, and I doubt that anybody was really trying to kill him."

I don't think Rodney King ever went to the hospital and I don't think the cops were really trying to kill him. But that story was a big deal.

The white kid was knocked unconscious with the first blow, yet the six (6) black racist students continued to beat on him. But they weren't trying to kill him?

"According to court documents, someone hit Barker from behind, knocking him out, and then others began to kick and stomp his “lifeless” body. He spent about three hours in a local emergency room for treatment of injuries to his head and face."
