Your ignorance of Pat Robertson is astounding.
LOL!
He gave nearly $140 million to WorldReach
His non profit
He gave nearly $150 million to Regent University
His non profit
And hes set up a trust for CBN thats at over $100 million.
His non profit
He receives no salary for his work with The 700 Club.
You can't accept a salary from your own tax shelter.
Smuggling with an OB aircraft? He paid to rent some space on OBs aircraft to import diamonds.
He owns Operation Blessing and the aircraft.
He worked with the thug leader of that country not the smartest thing, I admit, but not illegal.
LOL!
Your characterizing that as smuggling again betrays your bias.
You admit the aircraft were used to transport the diamonds. Do you realize that those blessed diamonds were the product of child slavery? Kids died to supply Pat Robertson with diamonds...Praise the Lord!

Again, I’m sorry that some Christian has so hurt you to the point that you’d be so cynical about those who follow Christ. Perhaps you can look to Christ Himself rather than to the sinful people who follow Him.

So would that be fair to describe as one of the tenets of what you subscribe to?
I subscribe to live and let live. It's really very simple. Don't belittle Mormons, Wiccans and others and I won't belittle you.

Again you use Frosty's tract...won't work with me. And if you don't know who Frosty is just ask Marion. My cynicism comes from working with the Jesus show... not from the flock of believers you guys con.
Perhaps you can look to Christ Himself rather than to the sinful people who follow Him.
Perhaps you should do the same.

The document is irrelevant. There was no persecution of Christian Churches.

The document is irrelevant. There was no persecution of Christian Churches
___________________________
That sums you up. An OSS document detailing Nazi persecution of Christians is “irrelevant” to your comment that Nazi’s “reinvigorated Christianity” in Germany.
Regarding your hogwash above regarding Operation Blessing, Pat Robertson’s ministry, go to Ministry Watch which analyzes ministry finances, including the pay and personal use of the ministry leaders:
http://www.ministrywatch.com/mw2.1/F_SumRpt.asp?EIN=541382657
I don’t know much about Robertson, but I do know that nothing YOU have said has been trustworthy in this thread. Ministry Watch is a good place to go when checking out ministries to give to. They give Operation Blessing a clean bill of health, an A on transparency and over 95% of funds go to the recipients or some such.
What’s your source of information for problems and what source documents does it rely on?

I subscribe to live and let live. It's really very simple. Don't belittle Mormons, Wiccans and others and I won't belittle you. That's what I thought: A contradiction in your philosophy.
(a) On the one hand, you say you subscribe to a "live and let live" philosophy.
(b)But then you encounter others' philosophy on threads like these--a philosophy not chock full of moral neutrality & moral libertarianism; a philosophy that doesn't embrace a "I couldn't-care-less-about-the-ultimate-spiritual-welfare-of-my-neighbor." And presto...guess what turn into...?
All of a sudden you're not "live and let live" when it comes to another poster (or to me).
So which is the real you? The "live-and-let-live" character you say you are? Or the "nag-and-attack" person you simultaneously admit being to some of the posters in here? (Isn't a "nag-and-attack" posture contradictory to a "live and let live" mentality?)
To: Greg F; MissouriConservative
The 50s were when this nation reaped the harvest of WWII. The soldiers who returned from the theaters were not the boys who left. Many became enamored of the world and left the church. Notice how few men from that generation are in the church today . . .
At the same time, the seminaries were being filled with leftist cowards who are now running many mainline denominations.
This combination has left a bitter legacy in the American church, but Europe was completely decimated. There, almost an entire generation was killed and many more were lost to socialism and atheism.

And, unlike some conservatives I know off-site, I will vote for Rudy if it comes down to a Rudy-Hillary election, because I don't want to see another Clinton in that role.Same here. The only Republican I wouldn't vote for against Clinton is Romney because I don't trust cult members or cult leaders.

That’s a tough one, but I think I agree. It’s hard to get past the notion of ‘cult’ with Romney, despite the fact that I thought he had some good responses in the recent debate and held his own in liberal Mass state as governor. I’ve been wrestling with this notion, but if it’s Hillary vs a less desirable Republican, I might have just have to go with the vote against Hil. Luckily we have some time yet. Paul would also be undesirable, if he’s actually a Republican.

That sums you up. An OSS document detailing Nazi persecution of Christians is irrelevant to your comment that Nazis reinvigorated Christianity in Germany.
Fact: The document does not detail persecution of any Christians.
Fact: There was no persecution of Christians in Nazi Germany.
Fact: Hitler revived Christianity in Europe.
Read about the Prussian revolt in 1848 and the state of Christianity in Europe following that revolt until Hitler revived Christianity. Christianity was a requirement in the Third Reich, not an option.
Ministry Watch is a good place to go when checking out ministries to give to.
ROTFLMAO!!!
Ministry Watch is a Pat Robertson organization!
but I do know that nothing YOU have said has been trustworthy in this thread.
That's only because you have so little education. I take it European history wasn't your strong suit.
Everything I have said is well documented public knowledge. No conspiracy theories or hysterical faith based claims such as yours.

So I have given you some bones to chew on. I look forward to a well-studied and thought out reply. But please don't bring any stale "official church statements" to the table. Despite the fact that what you have given me are "stale anti-mormon statements" I will give you what you asked for. Please be patient, I have to work 2 jobs to be able to pay taxes that support people who won't work one job, so I have limited time to internet.
BTW, if we are "Saved by grace..." Why are we "Judged according to our works"? And what exactly are you "Saved" from? Do you "Grace Only" believers cut the entire Book of James from your New Testaments, or do you believe James was some kind of radical that didn't understand "Grace"?

How can I trust you that Mother Theresa is in Heaven?
To: Auntie Dem
“Faith without works is dead.” Works are an outward sign of the inward change that comes from saving faith in Jesus Christ.
There are two judgments mentioned in the “end times”- the Great White Throne judgment, which is of the “lost”- those who are found without Jesus Christ as their savior, and the other is the “Judgment Seat of Christ”. This second judgment is not a judgment of saved or not/heaven or hell, it is a seat of reward for the works done in His name. This is the judgment where Christ hands out the crowns of righteousness/eternal rewards for those works. It is the “race” to be run that the Apostle Paul mentioned.
