Dingy Harry accused any Republicans "voting in lock-step" were "obstructionists", etc., etc.

Yes, Webb's amendment went down in flames, and the token attempt to appease MoveOn.org and the cut-n-runners fell to the sh*tcan.
They proposed troops could serve 12 months only, and then had to have 12 months out-of-theatre.
If this were in WWII, we'd be speaking German and Japanese.

That was my thought, too. How far have we come in the Freedom of Speech crap where ELECTED officials now can insult, defame, lie, and condemn this Country in wartime, without any Treason charges?

It is beyond me... What Tokyo Rose and Lord Haw Haw did was lax compared to what Sean Penn, Micheal Moorefood, Bella Polosi have done to the country... Back then the Americans and Brits laughed off that sort of propoganda, but now they have to take it in as being serious. Hearing a sitting member of congress putt down what you are doing for your country is nothing short of treason. IF it was good for Tokyo Rose is should be good for Polosi,Reid,Penn,Moorefood!
