Is that the incident rate? Wow.

I can remember seeing kids skoot into the bar on the back of the seat in front of them.

Back in my day, there might have been a bully, but generally the kids behaved if the driver told them to.

These days kids don’t even mind when mom and dad tell them to.

Now that moms and dads spare the rod, the liitle munchkins are free to kill each other. Ahhhhh... much better.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Yes, 17,000 children are admitted to emergency rooms for school bus injuries. EVERY year children are dragged or crushed to death by school buses. Probably ALL of the deaths and the rate of injuries reduced if their was adult supervision on the BACK of the bus and while crossing the street.

But,,,,hey! Improving school bus safety would mean less money for the teacher´s paycheck and fat pensions.

So....if 17,000 kids are admitted to the emergency room, can you imagine the injury and abuse that never gets reported?

Honestly, I think any parent that would allow their child to ride a school bus is either desperate or hopelessly naive.
