Why wasn't Planned Parenthood Aurora's nonopening party busted?

Meanwhile, the Aurora Beacon reported today:
City officials said Tuesday they will not ask Planned Parenthood's staff to vacate their East New York Street building, despite the expiration of their temporary occupancy permit Monday.
"At this point, the city has opted to maintain the status quo," said city spokesman Carie Anne Ergo.
Ergo said ordinarily, a building owner in violation of the occupancy permit ordinance would be asked to vacate, and most comply willingly. If they do not, the city usually seeks a court order to remove them.
However, since this case is already before a judge, Ergo said the city has decided to leave things as they are for now. Planned Parenthood/Chicago Area filed last week for an emergency preliminary injunction that would have allowed their new facility to open Monday....
Aurora-based lawyer Vincent Tessitore wrote a letter to city staffers Tuesday, demanding the city enforce its ordinances. Tessitore said he got no response.
But as Eric Scheidler just pointed out in an email alert:
AT THE VERY SAME TIME, the police are out there telling us we can't have memorial crosses and signs -- in direct contradiction of an agreement reached August 30 with the City's attorneys.
And last Friday, the City even went so far as to try to get a federal court to block our prayer walk, calling it a "residential picket"!
They're doing everything they can to construe the City Ordinances so as to limit our Free Speech Rights, but letting Planned Parenthood illegally occupy a building!
Eric is requesting Aurora residents call, email, and fax Mayor Tom Weisner now to cry foul, telling him to enforce the law against Planned Parenthood.

Not sure if this means that any building owner will have the same opportunity in the future or if this means occupancy permits are a formality, but city spokesgirl Carie Ergo has been AWOL for comment.

Elsie, I have trouble equating a terrorist attack on our soil with individuals having abortions. I know this is not a popular sentiment, but there it is.
If the “doctors” in those clinics were all Muslim, you’d figger it out real quick.
Elsie, they could all be Mormons, Presbyterians, Wiccans, or pagans and the result would be exactly the same.
