Quoting Curtis Sliva is only slightly more acceptable than quoting Michael Savage, as far as I'm concerned.
Sliwa calls the senator LOUSE-enberg also? I had not heard that. I got that from Bob Grant actually, way back in the 1994 campaign I guess. Grant was assailing Lautenberg for his vile comments suggesting all Republicans are racists. Ever since then I have detested Lousenberg. Using those tactics managed to get him reelected in ‘94 I guess, though the Republican candidate blew it on some level. As I recall he was sunk by ads showing he had a very bad attendance record in the state legislature. Otherwise it seemed like that was one more Demo seat they could have picked off that year. What a shame.
