Interesting article about the Arabs and Gaza, and I would tend to agree with you in certain aspects of that... I guess that is were we get our term " Wilderness " root word ( Wild, like a beast , Arabs )
However, if you have studied the Bible, some of God's great men were tested and perfected in the " Wilderness "... or as called, the " wilderness experience ". Elijah meet GOD and GOD spoke to Elijah in the wilderness, but, then again, in Elijah's case, it was a place of solitude.
John the Baptist lived in the wilderness, King David spent most of his time before he became Kind running from Saul in the wilderness, and God was perfecting Kind David in the wilderness.
However, yes, it maybe true in what you say, but, in some cases, there are more demons or demonic activity in " HIGH PLACES " as in capital cities, or places of ruler ship.

The serious problem is in the north with Hezbollah and Syria.

The action in Gaza is a sideshow. The best way to defend against Hamas is to put them out of action by cutting off their utilities.

The main effort and troops can be moved elsewhere once Gaza is contained.

The same can be said about baal worship, when King Ahab and Jezebel were in power.
There were child sacrifices to the son god / god of fertility ( baal ) and perverted practices during baal worship, and we see that in feminism today.
A interesting note, Jezebel came from the group of people called the ( Phoenicians ) and she was called the Princess of Phoenicia ... it's kinda interesting that both words Phoenician and feminism almost sound the same.

That was certainly an aspect, but a Hamas-state doesn’t change the terrorism Israel is facing, but it does provide more options for Israel to respond — and that’s what we’re seeing.

Hamas is no longer a shadow group operating under cover inside Israel, they’re a head of state (in effect). This gives them all the responsibilities they never wanted, like keeping the lights on and the water running. It also gives them the headaches they never wanted, like disgruntled and armed citizens. It also drives increased infighting among terrorist groups, like all the bloodletting between Hamas and Fatah.
