Sacramento -- State Sen. Carole Migden is back on the highway after her wild ride through Solano County four months ago, but she had better keep her eyes on the road, a Department of Motor Vehicles spokesmans said today.
The San Francisco Democrat had her license returned to her last week, but another moving violation could put her on the sidewalk again, DMV spokesman Mike Marando said.
Migden's license was suspended following her erratic drive on May 18 that ended when she rear-ended another car with her state-issued sport utility vehicle near Fairfield. She pleaded no contest to a reckless driving charge last month and was fined $710 and given two years of court probation.
She met with a DMV driving safety officer in Santa Rosa on Aug. 29 to appeal her license suspension, said Mike Marando, a DMV spokesman.
After hearing from Migden, studying California Highway Patrol reports of the accident and reviewing a medical evaluation provided by the state senator, the hearing officer put Migden on one year's probation.
While she is allowed to drive, her license can be revoked if she receives another moving violation in the next 12 months, . . .

Thank you for giving me this information. I will go to the county commissioners and bitch them out (Col. Reagan) for what his courts are doing in Solano County. They wont deal with low level offenders and their lawyers/judges are CROOKS who take bribes to “fix” cases.

I believe the official explanation was that she was having a bad reaction to “medication.” The medication routinely prescribed at Happy Hour, is my guess.
I think she got a break from a higher-up. The good news is it’s unlikely she’ll get another one.
Anybody not “connected” like this scumbag is would be in jail.
