GOP candidate Hunter blasts 'Hillarycare'

Republican presidential candidate Duncan Hunter says Hillary Clinton's second universal healthcare plan would be a "disaster" for America.
Senator Clinton (D-New York) officially unveiled her new government-run health care plan yesterday in Des Moines, Iowa. The $110 billion program would require every American to have health insurance. Among other things, Clinton said she would repeal some of President Bush's tax cuts to pay for her plan.
In an interview with OneNewsNow, Congressman Duncan Hunter (R-California) said Clinton's plan would result in poor medical care. "Socialized medicine will be a disaster for this country," says the GOP presidential candidate. "And the more space we put between the people who consume our medical services and the people who pay for it, the more expensive it's going to be."
The California Republican shares an experience supporting his argument. "I'll never forget having a lady come to my office and show me a little [plastic] wrist brace ... that she'd been given [and had been] told not to worry about the price because government was paying for it -- and the price on that plastic wrist brace was $525. If we have socialized medicine, we're going to have a lot of $500 wrist braces -- and poor medical care."
Hunter says he likes the idea of freedom to buy health insurance across state lines which people in America do not currently have the right to do. He also likes the concept of using four or five hospitals as pilot programs to use new technological systems and protocols that are less expensive than the "ancient" ones currently being used.

If the Hunterites complain about Fred’s God-given wrinkles, I can complain about Duncan’s inability to tie a tie, or buy clothes that fit.
He looks like a mannequin at a JCPennys, dressed by a heterosexual shop assistant!
Sloppy and rumpled. Get a tailor!
Now, back to the real issues...

I have no issues with Fred’s wrinkles. I have a great many problems with the fact that he supports amnesty for those illegals already in America. I’m also not a huge fan of the fact that the man has cancer and this could easily compromise his ability to serve as President for 8 years. This, and many other problems with the Fred Thompson candidacy will be front and center on national TV if he manages to stumble into a nomination...a nomination that, against the best interests of America, is being pushed by a Republican insiders.
