I'll go you one better---I'd rather be on a talk show with Rosie O'Donnel than trust Rooty with my gun rights.

He wants to suck up to the NRA now, why did he not suck up to the Christian Republicans???

I can`t stand the guy!!! But I would sooner he said he had a phony conversion to the Pro Life/pro family/pro God side, then what he says now.

Yes if he had claimed a phony Christian conversion to the pro life side, he would be more acceptable to me then he is now.

I have no faith in either the NRA nor Rudy Guiliani when it comes to my right to own firearms, so this isn’t surprising to me.

There hasn't been a gun confiscation law that Giuliani didn't absolutely LOVE. He bragged, as mayor of NYC, about how many thousands of guns that HE had confiscated. And then when the first attack from an islamic terrorist hit NYC while he was mayor he took that opportunity to gather gun-grabbing liberal Democrats together and to call for more gun laws to include supporting Bill Clinton's efforts for national gun control.

The bottom line is that he purposely took guns away from New Yorkers, making them unable to defend themselves against violent criminals. And for those New Yorkers who died because of his efforts to take their guns away, Giuliani has their blood on his hands.

I read that a guy once sued a politician for not keeping his campaign promises. The suit was dismissed, and the judge essentially said “Only an idiot would believe a campaign promise.”

No doubt. What I see, since Rudy's lead is dropping in almost every poll, is he is trying to re-invent himself, again.

He was riding high until Fred joined the campaigning, now all of them, Mitt, Rudy, McVain are all scrambling to get more face time.

This is not an endorsement of Fred, even though I am a supporter, it's an obervation of what is clearly going to become a race for three names, Rudy, Mitt, Fred. The others are just garnish for the moment.

Just think of what a President Giuliani could accomplish with all of his liberal buddies in Congress.

Schumer, the Brooklyn Democrat who is the leading proponent of handgun control in the House of Representatives.

A liberal President Giuliani and Chuckie Schumer will have LOTS of chances to work together in a bi-partisan manner (with all of Rudy's other liberal buddies) on this and so many other issues. /s
