Huck got the votes either because he’s recognized as a governor or a former minister....like somehow that gives him more credibility.
Some do have a fascination with governors....even if he was a lousy governor.
Unfortunately, it is clear that many of them didn't do their homework well enough to know he was doing a dance around the immigration and taxation issue.
