It was my fault. We haven’t been fishing much this summer. My wife’s been sick. Maybe I can warm up the waters with a new boat?.................
“Also, it seems like the normal trend is approaching the abnormal or flukish range, which seems shall we say odd.”
Come on: To be fair, I was referring to what HAD been abnormal, and seemed to be becoming normal.
These scientists claiming that ocean temps are dropping are NOT on the ball here. What they should be doing is claiming that there is a process of "Global Ocean Temp Change" (man-induced) going on. This in turn is driving "Global Climate Change". That way, they are covered for the following four cases:
1. Ocean temps rise causes global warming, or
2. Ocean temps rise causes global cooling, or
3. Ocean temps fall causes global warming, or
4. Ocean temps fall causes global cooling.
Gotta cover your bases if you want to continue your grant research!
yeah, check out the La Nina almost reaching Australia. The wierd part: La Ninas normally form as the rebound of an El Nino. There wasn’t much of an El Nino before this La Nina.
How arrogant of you Owl_Eagle!
Everyone knows it's because I'm taking shorter showers and only buying local produce.
Global Oceans colder ! !
Really? Has the ice pack in what is about to become a usable NorthWest Passage been memoed?
You might want to drive an old pickup on the weekends or something, before we're shoveling snow in August.
Opposite here in the keys
Oh come on now! Us Global Warming experts KNOW that part of the effects of global warming are the world’s oceans getting colder...............
Check out the map in post # 29.
My God, that’s ridiculous! Is that in a textbook???
I just compared 9/17 to 8/16. It’s tough to eyeball these things, but I’d say it’s fair to conclude that September is shaping up to be at least as cool, wouldn’t you?
“Where are all the hurricanes this year”
Not to sound like I believe in this global warming #!*ap.
We just had two that hit Mexico and Hondouras.
One was a class FIVE.
Hurricane ANDREW was a class five when it hit south FL.
Installation of a huge swimming pool heater will cure this problem
Yes but the fish wont like it
The simple response from the liberals is: “Bush is fudging the numbers”.
The colder it is, the more CO2 it can absorb.
