Las Vegas authorities say that OJ Simpson could face up to 20 years in prison.
O.J. Simpson was arrested on Sunday, charged with multiple counts. Las Vegas police didn't say exactly what was on those video tapes showing OJ Simpson and other men entering a room at the Palace Station Hotel-Casino.
Police say that did a careful investigation despite the twisted stories that some of the witnesses told them.
Simpson is also heard on a phone answering message telling one of the victims, "Tell the police that there were no guns. I saw no guns. There were no guns." which only adds more counts of criminal charges.
O.J. Simpson could be in prison for decades, even up to 50 years depending on how many counts he's charged with. Police shed some light stating that the former pro football player could be in prison for 20 years.
It is also interesting to note that all those people who thought OJ Simpson was an innocent man for the 1994 killings of Nicole Brown Simpson, and Rob Goldman, are now shifting the other direction. While Simpson's criminal behavior started in 1994, he's had several run-ins with law enforcement for the past 14 years.
The book didn't help either. People who purchased the book are almost horrified by some of the credible writings that only the murderer would know.
As for posting bond, even if Simpson does post a 7 figure bond, the monies go to the Goldman and Brown families. Does OJ have money? A new witness has come forward to say that he assisted Simpson in moving monies to overseas bank accounts.
The plot thickens.

The sloppy police work, the recantations, the inconsistent stories.

Simpson bought his way out of a double murder. Question is, will he buy his way to freedom again? The answer is fully dependent on the judge and jury. Ito was bought off and the jury was hand-picked in his last trial. The same might not occur in Las Vegas or wherever he happens to be put on trial.
I’ve never seen anyone so bold in action. He truly believes and has been rewarded for believing he’s above the law. Apparently his smiley image isn’t the only O.J.?
One question that occurs to me is, how good is the Mob’s control in Las Vegas? Do they just control the casino trade, or do they control the authorities as well? And could O. J. make them a good enough offer to persuade them to help him out of this?
Could be pretty expensive.
Put him away for life, then let God have at him.
Instead of the justice system, I wish the mob would take care of this, and “help” him out of this, and his millions in gambling debts, by fitting him for a nice pair of Bruno Magli concrete shoes.

How can you say that a person is a killer but the jury says he's not guilty and you think that's a correct verdict?

Don’t definitely anticipate such a jury in Vegas. As far as I know, they don’t have such a concentration of bigoted and politicized minorities as there was in LA to make up the OJ Jury. The real concern of just about all the citizens in Vegas is that nobody does anything to stop the money train that comes from tourists and high rollers. From the old Mafia days on the rule in Vegas has been to protect the gamblers at all costs to keep the money tit flowing. The Mafia did it by planting distasteful persons in holes in the desert. The present government does it through rigorous law enforcement. What OJ is alleged to have done is viewed in Vegas as a crime worse than murder because it jeopardizes the cash flow. Hence, he’s not likely to get an OJ Jury this time.

Having a brother that is a retired lawyer, I can tell you he was stunned at the way Ito let the focus of the crime move from OJ to an issue of race. The evidence to convict Simpson was overwhelming, the most damnable and proof positive of which was the DNA matched fresh blood at the scene of the crime matching the cut on the back of simpson’s fingers.

What goes around comes around.
Just a thought. If I were the Mob, I’d let O.J. fry and not lift a finger to help him, no matter how much he offered to pay. It would be bad publicity for them to get mixed up in a mess like this. You might say it’s none of their business.
Besides, if they helped him get off, first thing you know he’d be running around the golf course boasting about it. Then they’d have to rub him out. Better to steer clear of him.
Will one of the other men arrested flip on oj for a better deal in sentencing?
