Republican anger continues to mount over MoveOn's disgraceful ad in Monday's New York Times that referred to "General Betray Us."
Thursday night, Sen. John McCain (R-Arizona) voiced one of the sharpes rebukes of the far-left organization since the ad was first published.
Speaking in front of a group in Hudson, New Hampshire, while holding a blown-up copy of the ad, McCain said (video available here, h/t Gateway Pundit):
It's disgraceful, it's got to be retracted and condemned by the Democrats, and MoveOn.org ought to be thrown out of this country."
How delicious. Do yourself a favor and watch the whole thing.

moveon.org is made up of a bunch of idiots and pukes. While I agree with McPain in some respects, these buttheads in our system have the right to free speech. They should just be hounded and investigated for illegal activity and made to be completely in the light.

McCain-Feingold helped give us these campaign funding organizations. Maybe McCain should leave the country with them.

Good for McCain. MoveOn.org is a treacherous group.
Did you see how they began? They had a petition that asked Congress to “Move On” from the impeachment of Bill Clinton for having sex. THEY DON’T GET IT! Clinton committed a felony by lying under oath to a grand jury. Clinton took advantage of an intern (usually called sexual harassment if I did that at work) and has sexually harassed and intimidated women (rape is alleged as well, of course). So, MoveOn.org is really about letting Clinton and other liberals do whatever they want, but they like to engage in character assassination if it is a Republican.
How can we get the FBI to investigate the Clintons fundraising ties to China, our enemy who just hacked our own Pentagon! The Clintons are cowards and traitors to the USA.

He can say what he wants, at this point. Don’t care.
The Bolsheviks organized the shamnesty demos and McPain publicly expressed hope for their great success. There was zero degrees of separation between International ANSWER and Moveon on the shamnesty issue. Now McPain wants to berate those he has allingned himself with on so many issues (shamnesty, campaign finance non-reform).
Now he wants to play to us. (Gee, I just can’t imagine why??)
Not listening.

MoveOn must be loving all this added free publicity. I’ll bet it’s working much better than planned for them.

The DEMs are beholdin to MoveOn.Org if not Owned by them outright and they live in fear of MoveOn.Org.

Not surprising that the Campaign Finance Reform architect Senator is a fan of censorship and eliminating opposing viewpoints, however inane they are. Perhaps he should study up on this text:
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
To: SandRat
Doesn’t surprise me that McCaine would like the government to regulate all (formerly free) political speech.

IDIOT McCAIN!His McCain Feingold campaign reform was a bonanza for MoveOn.Org
This bill was what made the 527 organizations into powerhouses. They can accept huge donations while candidates and political parties have limitations

Sorry FRiend, but I'll take issue that any day of the week.
You see I fully support another individual's right to freedom of speech - until it infringes upon my rights.
Moveon and a host of others have already infringed upon the rights of most Americans. But Moveon and many others seem to think that the right to freedom of speech and freedom of expression is absolute - it is not.

Every time I start to warm up to McAin he says something like this that makes me think that he has no concept of what our Constitution says and/or means.
MoveOn is made up of a bunch of scum sucking, anti-American traitors, but they still have freedom of speech just like the rest of us.

Before throwing out MoveOn.org, get rid of the ACLU. They have caused the country a lot of grief.

Didn’t John Kerry, of all people, call the “General Betray us” comments “over the top”? Buit you’re right, no other Dim has called the website in general on the outrageous stuff found there, to this point. Isn’t that where Bush=Hitler got started?

McCain still has a problem with that pesky First Amendement.
I don't care for MoveOn's attack ad, but they do have a right to their viewpoint.
